Briggs & Stratton 281658S Oil Fill Cap Replaces 66768/555037/281658

Bought this to replace a previous cap where the tether broke. The old cap was a better fit as this new one works itself loose during mowing. It just about does the job but no more.

I recently bought this replacement fuel cap on Amazon but the suppliers were in fact autoculture.co.uk. The cap didn’t really fit properly, so I called autoculture, who were superbly helpful. Thanks to them, I ended up with a new petrol tank, at Briggs and Stratton’s cost, because their new cap (a replacement design) doesn’t fit their old tank properly.
