WOW Baking CompanyCookies, Lemon Burst, 8-Ounce (Pack of 6)

Who am I kidding...these are delicious! I ordered them in bulk for auto delivery along with the ginger molasses ones, based solely on reviews of both products and my disdain for the overly sweetened starchy confections I've been able to find locally. When they arrived, I fell in love with the ginger molasses cookies, but these in comparison seemed a little doughy, though not unpleasantly so by any means. I think I just prefer the texture of the ginger cookies. These, however, are still much better than other gluten-free cookies I've tried. The name "Lemon Burst" says it all; the lemon flavor just floods your mouth when you take a bite. They're definitely more lemony and less sugary than other cookies.

You can taste the lemon but I would not call it a "lemon burst". For me they leave a noticeable bitter aftertaste from the baking soda so if you are sensitive to that I would not recommend these. The texture is OK if you like soft cookies, but they are not chewy as claimed. Just OK, I won't bother to buy them again.

You could use this as the base of a dessert with lemon curd and some whipped cream or custard, but on its own, it really is very soft - not crunchy or chewy.It does have a bright tart lemon taste, so good with ice cream, yogurt or fruit.

These cookies have a good lemon flavor,but are a bit soft for my liking, but with a cup of tea, they are the right size for a quick snack.

I am not a person who usually writes a review, but I felt compelled to tell other buyers that I found these to be horrible. I knew from the reviews that they would be a soft cookie, but these were way to soft and I did not like the taste at all. I normally love anything with lemon flavor, but these had the disgusting flavor of the lemon drink one is forced to drink in preparation for a colonoscopy.

These cookies are okay, just a little lemon flavor. Much too expensive, I won't order them again.

YUM! Good thing I have will-power as it is very tempting to eat the whole bag. They are very soft, which my whole family likes. We eat very primally and very rarely have anything sweet aside from extreme dark chocolate and these! (I have two-three a week but my five year old prefers them over any other night-time treat!) Gluten free is the key!

I have to eat Gluten Free so it was nice to find a treat that was actually good tasting and didn't taste like chalk like alot of GF products. They are soft and chewy, and have a delicious Lemon flavor. The negative, you don't get very many in the bag for the price. Buy some, they're worth it.
