It's exactly what I expected reading the other reviews. It's very soft, the "armor" is thin vinyl, the laces on the side adjust fit. It takes a while to put it together right, but it's great. I've got a good base to customize. I'm always finding little odds and ends to add to it and I think that's where it shines. It's like "noob armor" and the more you "level it up" the better it looks. It does run a little small so get a size bigger than you normally would, but otherwise it's fantastic.

covered it with faux black leather but planned to do that to make it look like a leather armor and used this as the base for the costume. Looks great when I added all the spikes to make it look mean. got lots of great comments during Halloween. It fit good with the lace up sides, strings I replaced with stronger ones that did not have the frayed ends so I could lace it up better, but all in all it was well built item when it arrived, which made for a great base for the overall costumer.

Love the look of this for the price. I knew the leather would not be super high quality but it looks great with my layered renaissance outfit. The only drawback on this is that the neck was not cut low enough so when I sit on move around too much it will slide up. I don’t mind cuz of the price but I will be trimming it to give it a better fit.

We were looking for something my husband could use for a cosplay outfit, and this worked well for part of his costume. It’s different, and versatile. It could be used for Renaissance Fairs, but he used it as part of a Star Wars costume.

Fits nicely for a 5' 11" 200 lbs man. All of the fabric is a little too thin. When fastening the side strings, I keep thinking I'm going to pull it through.

For the price, great product! Held up great for 3 different Halloween/Work parties. I’m 6’ 185 lbs and it fit well, doesn’t leave much to the imagination if you’re not wearing anything under.

Awesome! Has a weird smell when you take it out of the wrapping but after a wash, it looks/smells great. Got this for my husband's Renn Faire costume. He's 5'8, 195 lbs, muscular build and we got a large. The laces are super long so we ended up double knotting them and tucking them into his pants.

I've got no pictures but used as part of my Jon Snow costume. Fit is good wish it was a little tighter. I'm 6'1 190 bought a Large and it fit well. There are laces on the sides to help keep it tight to your body which didn't work well. But overall for the price you can't go wrong
