Quality Vanson pickups with great tone
I wanted a set of humbuckers with a different voicing and these Rockatron pickups deliver. The output is modest so works really well with a small valve amp and gives great overdriven tones. The pickups are well designed and fitted perfectly. The finish is excellent and I think they look great and a real change from generic hum bucker styles.

Classic rock'n'roll sound
These good looking pickups is bit more "rough" compared to Vansons PAF alnico II (also a great pickup).The "Rockatron" actually provides an authentic classic sound suitable for rock, rock'n'roll/rockabilly and blues.For Jazz I personally find the Vanson PAF pickups better, but of course the Rockatron can be used - just lower the pickup volume a bit.
