My suggestions are that the directions are not as complete, clear, and easy to follow as they should be. I called the Oregon service center twice for clarification. In fact, there has been a change in one spec that the second technician passed on to me. This should have been included wiht the sharpener. Great item to have if you cut your own fire wood, or sharpen blades for family and friends aswell for some extra cash. The only problem I had was reading the instruction manual. You will find like several other people I know that it is written in "jibberish". Dont let it deter you in any reguards. You will get some information, but then common sense takes over. Outside of that, use the manual in the bathroom and save on toilet paper.
