I really like this cleaner, it does a terrific job.It’s been used to clean glasses and a watch using the special solutions also from Amazon, they came out sparkling. It’s main use has been to clean flux from some small circuit boards I’ve been tinkering with, they came out free from any residue.The onboard heater isn’t the most powerful, you will have to wait a while for it to get warm, I warm the solution up in the microwave and let the onboard heater keep it to temperature, it works just fine for that.All in all, I’m very happy with this.

Shame for the size of it it was not really deep enough for job it was intended.You should have put depth of fluid after basket was inserted. Which would have helped.

I had a much cheaper sonic cleaner and was ok but very basic. This however is a completely different beast. Very very easy to use with the element of heating as a bonus. The cleaning process is easy and so fantastically efficient. Excellent value and very happy with it.

Tried this out on a couple of items the evening that I received it. The heater works OK but is fairly slow. Better to use warm water in advance. It is very noisy and not liked by the cats! However, the main problem is that when I used it the following day, on turning the timer knob, there was a loud bang and the smell of electrical burning. That was it. The machine was totally dead. I followed all the instructions for using it exactly. I guess the quality is not what I expected i.e. a bit more than one day's usage. Fortunately I had all the packaging so it was back for a refund in less than 24 hours of receiving it.

Didn’t hold up much hope for this unit because it’s a relatively cheap item compared to someAfter opening it was a pleasant surprise how well constructed it wasMy 1st thing I had to clean was my titanium citizen watchThe thing has basically never been of my wrist in about 7 years.. working with it .. dust …oil.. soil ect ectShowered with it so soap.. washed dishes ect it was basically a bio hazard lol you could see the grime and scum in the links and claspAnyway also purchased some jewellery cleaning liquid at the same timePut the water in with correct amount of cleaning solution and set the temperature to 60 then when temperature reached set the machine going for 10 minsRemoved the lid on completion and the water was blackRinsed the watch under cold water and inspectedIt was unbelievably clean … like as new clean.. now the wife wants all her jewellery done

This machine is large enough for your spectacles but compact enough to be stowed away in a small cupboard. It is simple to use and maintain and works reasonably well with a small drop of washing-up liquid in a fill of tapwater - though you may wish to use one of the specialist additives available. The noise others have complained of seems to be partly due to the clockwork timer drive: I imagine the electronically-timed alternative may be quieter but the noise is not very obtrusive and can be easily avoided by starting the machine and adjourning for a cup of tea and a biscuit - (a recommended way of timing the process remotely). The built-in heater is a boon and, provided care is taken, much improves the results and speed of operation. Early days, but so far good results and good value for money. Recommended.

User manual seems vague to me.Cannot understand what flùid to use. Did not remove tarnish from coins, which is the main reason I purchased this item.
