At last a pitcher made out of glass, have been looking for one for years. I hate the taste of water sitting in a plastic pitcher. I was hesitant because in your description it was written lined with plastic. It is not, the only plastic part is where the filter fits in. Also what I love the water does not drag up to the filter. Love it, love it, love it. Your filters make the water taste super pure. Thank you.

This was an investment. The glass will be much easier to maintain (keep sparkling clean) than the hard plastic one, so I suspect it will last a long time. The jug has a non-slip bottom which you can take off to wash. Takes the same size filters as other Waterdrop models in plastic but strangely the one it came with is yellow. My concern has always been plastic contamination, which is a big issue these days. That is why I switched up to the glass model. It is heavy when full of filtered water but overall suits the needs of our two person household. If you are worried about plastic contamination, this product resolves that concern.

Overall, this is a nice product. I used to use Brita water filters but wanted to switch to a glass container. The container is easy to clean. The water filter was fairly easy to install, and the water filters through pretty quickly. The filtered water tastes good to me. It doesn’t seem to hold a lot of water, but it would then be more heavy because of the glass so I don’t mind. I do wish the design of filling the top with unfiltered water was better designed. Sometimes the water from my sink isn’t powerful to open the cover over the hole, so it flows around and into the spout with the filtered water or across the top of the lid into the sink. Now I’ve learned how to hold it carefully to avoid it going directly into the filtered water, but still wanted to point out this design flaw.
