It's great reception, and I can usually find a signal using TMobile, even when my phones can't. FYI.... The GL-X3000 is a great router for RV's that need connectivity in remote locations because you can run it off of 12 volts, it has two SIM card slots that you can switch between, and it draws only about 1amp.. I have a Starlink too which works great, but I had to buy extra hardware to run it off of 12v, and it draws 3 to 5 amps, not to mention it costs $150 a month for roaming. One thing to point out is that the cables are slightly stiff, and will take up a little space when curled up. I really only needed about 10 inches of cable, and the remaining cable took up a lot of space. The cables once curled took up more area than the antenna itself. It's not an issue, just something to keep in mind when you install it. Review: Impressive reception on an Airstream RV! - Been very pleased. Haven't used all the features but I use this to get campground WiFi as well as Cellular if the campground WiFi is crap or goes down. It does both really well. Typically, WiFi signals inside the rig were around 2 bars and 5 bars from the antenna. Similarly, cell signals are around 1 bar in the rig and 5 bars from the antenna. Definitely can't complain about those numbers! Would definitely recommend a ground plane. I didn't need one since my RV is aluminum, but as a ham radio operator, I know how important a ground plane is and if I had a wood or fiberglass roof I'd definitely have a ground plane. I was going to use a large flat pizza pan as my ground plane. I am using this with a Balance 20 by Peplink with CAT4 cellular modem and a Netgear Nighthawk for the WiFi. Once I go to a CAT18 modem then I'll use the other two cables for 2x2 MIMO. I feel it helped my signal significantly and never had to worry about plotting out tower locations to find the best window to place my indoor antennas in. It sits low and is Dar Less obtrusive than the LTE antenna that came with the rig. Most antennas don’t seem to support 4x4 MIMO, so was happy to find one that did. I used the 2.4ghz wifi antenna to help extend outdoor range.
