Slushie Machine: No Ice Needed Slushy Machine for Home, 6 Preset, Real-Time Temp Display, Auto-Clean | Frozen Margaritas, Cocktails, Frappés, Ice Cream, Smoothies, Milkshakes,Summer Parties

I recently went to a friend’s house who had a slushie machine and my granddaughter absolutely loved it. I was planning on buying one for a Christmas gift for the family, but decided with summer coming, it would be best to buy one now. After a lot of research and reviewing other machines on Amazon, I chose this one for many different reasons, one specifically the size and the fact that it also makes soft serve ice cream, which my granddaughter loves. So far, we’ve tried it with soda, juice and even cherry syrup I purchased on Amazon. It makes perfect slushie’s in 15 minutes, it has definitely not disappointed. Today we are going to do soft serve ice cream cones. I will come back and add to my review and let you know how they turned out. I will definitely recommend this machine to all of my friends and family. It’s very quiet and so far it’s been amazing for after School treats for my granddaughter. After weeks of research, we finally decided on this machine. Out of the box it was in mint condition. It came with an easy-to-read user manual as well as a mini recipe book. The first thing we made was a punch slush, I bought Hawaiian Punch Rainbow Sherbert Bash Juice, 1 Gal, from Walmart, It turned out okay, didn't really freeze to the consistency we want, I thought maybe we did something wrong, so after googling I found other reviewers said this brand of juice doesn't freeze well in these type of machines, so next we tried some Simply Peach juice, and it turned out fantastic, perfect slushie consistency so smooth and tasty, so definitely check which juices work best. Today we tried chocolate milkshake, it turned out as good as Braums, our first batch was good, but the next was even better. Tip that worked for us, mix the milk, chocolate syrup, cocoa, sugar, and heavy cream in a blender then chill for a about 10mins, then pour into machine and let the magic begin, it was so so good, only compliant is we didn't make enough for seconds lol. Lastly, I have bought some Dailys premixed drinks, chilled first (not frozen) and a cup of water and poured it into the mix and it turned out delicious, the water helps the overly sweet taste. I am so glad I bought this machine it has been so fun to try new things, next we plan on trying ice cream. I also bought their recipe book from the BKPPM website on here.

Great Slushie machine. Ice cream doesn't seem to get cold enough to become a good soft serve consistency. It always comes out as if it melted a little bit. I throw it in the freezer for 30 min and it stiffens up pretty well.

The machine itself functions great. I've been using it for a year, and I've made many many frappr coffee drinks and slushes, often many days in a row. I haven't had any issues with its operation, except that sometimes when your house temperature is warmer, the machine will take longer to freeze your drink. That said, I have made at least several hundred frozen drinks with a machine, and though cleaning is a little bit of a drag because of build up in areas that you don't notice, I'm very positive about the performance. The problem is if you need to replace a part. There is no information about a company website or a phone number anywhere. Using Amazon assistance to trying to find that just takes you in circles. I might need to order a part, but it is impossible to get in touch with the company. Presumably this is one of those standard drink machines where multiple companies are making essentially the same machine. So you would think that acquiring parts should be pretty easy, but you can't do it through this company via Amazon. Very frustrating. Keep that in mind if you get anxious about not being able to have backup parts or replacement parts. The complete lack of contact information is what brings us from 5 to 3 stars.

I ask about the 1+2 warranty that was on an included card. Didn't get a response.
