I really enjoyed being thrust within this series, kept my attention well. Lots of action and fun twist all about, some of the modern concept writing stuff, (Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll) written well and insanely hilarious, as in the wife/exwife of Billy, she keeps you entertained with her outings. Billy Bob Thornton is incredible again. He is tough and he knocks it out of the park acting in this show!! Lots of facts to keep the curiosity up, through out the series. only disappointment for me, need more episodes!

From Sling Blade to Landman Mr. Thornton has never disappointed me. The one movie that took me by surprise the character he played in Tombstone - Johnny Tyler - I watched several times before realizing it was him! Anyway, in Landman it seems he's just being himself, not a character. True grit tough as nails with a tender spot for his daughter, worried hopes for his son and a passion for his ex-wife that may prove to slow burn him into destruction. I've learned quite a bit about oil and all the products I take for granted, but also about the wind turbines. So I appreciate Mr. Sheridan including good information on all that. All in all, the rest of the cast is damn fine, to storyline keeps me hookedand I can't wait for a Season 2 - maybe more? I don't see how this show could run out of material. Until there is another season, I'll have to rewatch Goliath for my Thornton fix, because that show is so darn good, rewatching is no hardship.

This show is well-rounded. Billy Bob really shines.it really does give you the nitty gritty behind the oil business, from the boss, the fixer (Billy Bob), the crew, the oil magnate's oblivious wife, to Billy Bob's kids. The characters are well developed so far, it's a nice mix of drama, with some comedic moments.Accurate depiction, right down to the danger of the job. I watched both episodes back to back. Sheridan has been developing some really amazing shows lately. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Great storyline, excellent acting, very entertaining!

This is the best new show in a long time. It's a drama but there are plenty of great comedic lines by the case and especially Billy Bob Thornton. Billy Bob is at his best in this show!Lots of gorgeous women (not a bad thing : - ) who also play their roles very well!Not heavy into politics or unwanted narratives...so far. Just great entertainment.If you are easily offended there's some humor that could offend you.Love this show!!!

The show is so good it is one of the best programs I've ever seen. The characters are awesome, the cinematography is top notch and the story is credible and endearing. I am getting ready to rewatch the whole season just to see if I missed anything. You'll like it, I guarantee it!
