Edifier STAX Spirit S10 Planar Magnetic ANC Wireless Earbuds, IP54

For the average customer wanting premium earbuds I would not recommend these. For a beginner audiophile I would highly recommend. Explanation: the earbuds dont fit well in the ears. With the big driver they feel like there going to fall out so they arent good for working out, but sitting still it is hard to recognize they are in and with all the eartip sizes they are very comfortable.they also arent as loud as dynamic driver earbuds planar headphones usually take a bit more power to drive so it makes sense. Thats why I say they're not for the general consumer who just wants to headbang all day. The sound is the best I have heard in any pair of earbuds I've owned and with the app you can change a lot in the eq settings. It takes a bit to learn if you dont understand eq settings. If you dont want to mess with the eq they have presets to make them sound like regular earbuds but if your gonna do that just buy a cheap pair. If you want an audiophile level listening experience without the price tag there is no question. Dont spend thousands on a setup just to find its not for you. These have a distinct sound signature and it's not for everyone. If you want something more niche you have to pay more so in my opinion the pricetag is very appropriate.

Biggest soundstage of all my earbuds. With proper tips for isolation, bass is good--realistic, not enhanced like some many very popular earbuds. Top end can occasionally be shrill. Would not want to be without them. They are one of a kind-- today. As planar technology is being used more frequently, this bud should get some real competition in the near future. Can't wait!

You just need a good seal...I tried the different ear tips included and, oh wow, I'm a believer! The sound is amazing, especially classical music with the Electrostatic EQ. I repeat, you need a good seal to enjoy the sound it produces! Aside from that, ANC and transparency aren't so great!

High quality for the price. Companion app is surprisingly good. I wish the EQ had more than four bands though. I’m sure further polish will be brought in future iterations as the driver type is relatively new to the wireless earbud format. However, these earbuds sound amazing, and I am glad Edifier brought planar magnetic drivers to the wireless earbud space. I cannot comment on longevity yet. Quality construction on both the earbuds and charging case. ANC is moderately good. It seems some of their other wireless earbuds have a higher level of ANC, so I am wondering if ANC is harder to perfect with this driver type. On-earbud controls are not bad, but I wish they could be more customizable. Battery life is not bad, but could use further improvement in future iterations (this driver type is more power intensive). Nice array of earbud tip sizes, and high-quality overall packaging presentation. Overall, I highly recommend for those who want an audio experience on the forefront of the wireless earbud space. However, I’d recommend researching the sound profile differences between dynamic and planar magnetic drivers, because your personal preferences may differ from mine.
