Great watch, good battery life
Having owned Fitbit fitness trackers for over 10 years and my current Charge 5 battery starting to fail some 2 months out of warranty plus Google's strategy of moving everything to a Google watch that has a 24hr battery, I decided enough was enough and looked for alternatives.I don't need a fancy smart watch but wanted a little more than a fitness and sleep tracker. Price was important, I didn't want to pay £350 for a watch and the Amazfit Active 2 smart watch came up at a perfect price with features that sounded good so I bought one.First of all I thought Amazfit was an Amazon product and I am sure the marketing dept knew this when they thought up the name but Amazfit is nothing to do with Amazon. Amazit is owned by Zepp Health Inc although Xiaomi does have some investment in the company. Amazfit is not a small company so don't be put off by the name. What is the Active 2 smart watch like? Well the strap that came with the watch made my wrist come out in sores but apart from the Fitbit one, every silicon watch strap has done this and I do like to get the straps that have a magnetic fastener so I was always going to change it. Good news is the straps use a standard so there are multiple sellers offering them.In use the watch has a lot of options from displayng the time to step count, date, heart rate, minutes active, weather, blood oxygen value, amount of sleep, etc. The watch allows customisation of the display and there are many free watch face designs + other paid for options. There are so many options on this watch that it will take you days to work out where they all.The watch can play MP3s, be used to answer calls and can act as a payment method as long as your bank supports it.If you want an activity route tracker, the watch has GPS tracking built in, just start an activity and the watch will record where you have been, I do this to track my dog walk routes. When you end your GPS tracking the watch provides details of the journey and talks through the results.Battery life is good and I get a week of usage, a little less if I use the GPS tracking feature. To charge the watch you get a small 'puck' that connects with a USB-C interface to a charger (not supplied). The puck is magnetic and will only fit on one way. The puck is small and could easily be mislaid so I keep mine connected to a cable all the time. The Amazfit is supported by an app for your mobile, the app is called Zepp. It displays all the data the watch has recorded plus historical data like sleep patterns, heart rate average, etc. there is just so much data it would be impossible to list it all here.Would I buy one again? Absolutely.

Premium smart watch at a reasonable price.
Absolutely brilliant SmartWatch. Firstly the 10 days is so much better than most smart watches out on the market, it is so good not have to charge my SmartWatch so often. Secondly this has all the features I need, NFC is brilliant for payments, very easy health app to set up on my phone, and lots of it really easy functions and apps. It basically feels like a phone on your arm. Thirdly, my other key reason for purchasing and watch like this is its low profile. So many lower price smartwatches are really clunky but this feels like an ordinary watch and very light on your wrist. Finally, the screen is super bright but do remember to turn it off auto to get its full brightness.Overall I'm very pleased with this watch, it looks very cool and has loads of functionality.

Excellent value fitness watch
Been using this for around 3 weeks. I found that the watch is easy to use but please note that it is used primarily for jogging and hillwalking so I have not explored all of the functionality Great battery life, much better than the Fitbit Sense which this replaced. Found that the GPS connects more often than my Fitbit connected and is fairly accurate and the ZEPP app is much easier to use than the Fitbit app. The one downside is the strap is fairly small, I have a large wrist and I have to wear it on the last hole, saying that it is comfortable to wear, but anyone with a very large wrist would find it impossible to wear without replacing the strap. Cannot comment on longevity as only purchased recently. In summary a good looking watch with good functionality and battery life and is great value costing less than half of the Fitbit it replaced.

Great quality
High quality smartwatch, easy to use and to connect with your smartphone. I've bought it as a gift for my husband and he loves it. The design is lovely, it's not too big, it's comfortable to wear and not heavy at all. Great value for money.

Excellent smartwatch for the money
Impressive smart watch for the money, i don't think you can get something better at this price range. Great battery life, saphire glass, easy to use, lightweight, excellent screen and also great sensor for tracking your heart rate, sleep, etc. very happy with it so far.

Series has major software issue
Seemed initially a good watch and battery life is excellent (over 20 days) but watch faces are not configurable to the level of those on a garmin. Also the watch developed a fault where it displayed a QR code permanantly on screen and couldn't connect to bluetooth. I searched the internet and found others had the same issue however but i decided to get the watched replaced. After 2 weeks of use the 2nd watch did exactly the same hence I returned it.
