I received the Sinoband 40w speaker a couple of days ago and although I have have a limited amount of time with it and can honestly say I am blown away by the volume capacity, Bass and the amount of features on offer. I have only tried this speaker on it's own but I am so impressed that I will be purchasing a second unit to use them in TWS mode. The EQ function works well although there is a big difference between each of the three settings. The standard out the box sound offers the best balance for all frequencies. Charging speed is very fast compared to others. I compared this speaker to my Bose Soundlink and am surprised at just how close it comes for sound quality but with more features and volume capacity and a fraction of the price.

Got this to play outside - backing some buskers. I hoped for more than it delivered but that was my ignorance - too much peripheral sound for it to be heard. Take it to the park or garden and it's grand. Have it in a medium-sized room and it's more than capable.

Tried to look for customers' reviews, found some with the American version as of SINOBAND S400 Plus 40W. Nothing said about battery etc. First of all - no way this speaker would last 15 hrs as advertised. I don't know, maybe the American version is a proper power station, but the UK one is only 2500 mAh (my smartphone has bigger battery!) as shown in the quick setup guide only 8 hrs @ 65Db. (See my attached photo.) Which is about right. So, I ran the little test: I fully charged it before the first use and tried it over 3 days totalling just over 10 hrs at just below 60 Db (it's the volume of a normal conversation at distance of 3 feet). After about 9 hours the volume suddenly dropped by 30% and annoying bleeps started every 5 and then 3 mins until the battery finally died in 1 hour+. Give me another chance, and I would've opted for Poweradd 36W with 6 speakers, which just slightly heavier and bigger and only a tenner dearer. I can compare it with another speaker that my daughter has - VTIN Punker 20W (4400 mAh) - which lasted 1 week of beach hols on a single charge. And Sinoband is about 25% louder when trying them both on full blast, it's not 40W anyway. On the good note - the bass is OK, quite rounded, give expression of a surround sound. The gadget is covered with protective rubber and feels solid. There're 3 preset equaliser settings what I'd describe as: Normal, Tinny and Muffled. I don't know the purpose of the latter two after trying them, so used Normal all the time. Can't complain at £40, but had it advertised correctly, I wouldn't have gone for it. So if you don't mind charging it every other day you might like it after all.

Nice bass, good for the money.

Let me just state that I was very happy with the purchase for the first few months. The speaker was a gift for my eldest and she loves her music on the go. The sound clarity was as good as my more expensive speakers with only the clarity of the upper notes showing the speaker is a budget one. The downside is the longevity of the battery and by that I mean how long the battery actually lives. Our speaker stopped charging three weeks ago. I have tried to contact the suppliers but told I have a 1 month window to complain or return the item. Ah thanks for that, so the fact your product does not even last six months but has passed the one month returns window means you are no long going to look after a customer who bought your product. All good I will never purchase anything from this vendor nor the manufacture again, and hope that folks read this review and pay attention. No after sales service and the product does not last.

Very good product

what I liked about it was I had set up my amazon music on my computer listening in my bedroom then had to go and do some work in my garage took my SINOBAND with me and sound quality was still amazing.

Excellent sound and volume - I use it to teach dance classes and it is perfect.
