SGODA Chain Dog Training Choke Collar, 16 in, 2.0 mm

Functionality is great. Use is easy. It’s pretty much self explanatory. Fit was good.

What can I say, it’s a dog collar, seems to be great quality, I bought the wrong size, so it’s a little big for my dog, so I can’t use it, but I’m not going to return it, for the $8.00, not worth the headache!!! But I would def recommend, and it also has a third loop for the leash which my previous one does not.

It’s a little bigger than I would like it to be but that was my fault- I estimated wrong. It is very easy to use and very sturdy!

My dog trainer recommended I purchase this particular collar instead of using the nylon one to help with the training process and so far it's been helping. No more pulling and no more being disobedient. We've established boundaries and trust in just a short period of time simply by using this collar. This collar came with an extra ring attached, I'm assuming the 3rd one is to attach a tag.

The collar just arrived. We ordered 16 inch size, given our dog's 14 inch neck. It appears sturdy when pulled by hand and the finish appears solid. Loops and chain show no seams that could open easily. The chain slides easily through the loop and tightens/releases as expected. The only issue is really the sizing. This 16 inch collar is actually 14.5 inches of chain. The only way to reach 16 inches is to include the 2 loops at their extreme ends and that barely measures 16 inches of total absolute length. We expected 16 inches of actual chain. It's extremely tight going over the dog's head and the fit is way too snug around the dog's neck. If it was a true 16 inch chain with 2 loops on top of the chain length, it would have fit perfectly, however it's too small to use as is and we are contemplating on either modifying it somehow to extend it sufficiently to slip over the dog's head, or simply return and buy a different size and brand. Bummer. It should be advertised as a 14-14.5 inch chain.

Nice fit. Over the ears easily. Puppy loves it.

I had ordered one before and fit great. This one is a few inches bigger and the alloy seems a bit cheap. Still works .

This worked great! Dad's rescue dog was able to slip a regular collar and pulled alot on leash. He was worried that if the dog got loose he would take off or worse get hit by a car. I suggested this collar and the dog stopped pulling. I think he was trained at one time with a collar like this. Dad now has no fear of walking the dog. Problem solved.

This is a very good training aid, works well depending upon how well the user knows how to apply it. Like all things the dog and the owner need to be trained to use such a device it can be cruel if not used properly.
