Not for rear 2012 Ford fusion brake light!
The title and description are a little misleading, first of all the quality is bad. The socket is actually for the front, I have no idea why is says rear turning in description. Secondly the socket is shorter and not very efficient, poorly made. This should not be listed as a good replacement for 2012 Ford fusion on Amazon, please remove it!

easy to install; direct fit; didn't fix my problem though; must be a short somewhere else in the car.

Did the job. Poor quality checks
Out of the box the sockets fit my 2010 F150 harness perfectly, however the bulbs wouldn't work. I ended up having to take a very thin long screwdriver and bend the little prongs in for them to make contact. They work now, just inconvenient.

Make sure marker and blinker lights work before putting assembly back in car.
Connector fits nice and tight, but the end of the socket where the bulb plugs in, I had to bend the tabs inside the connector to make contact with the bulb. So the bulb would light. Other then that I like it.
