H-259 Alumfast Rapid Cure Aluminum Filled Epoxy Putty, 2 oz Stick

I bought a used pontoon boat with a couple of holes in the aluminum floats. The holes were patched with something that came loose. I tried no flux rods and a torch to try to fill the holes in, but after several tries I gave up. This stuff was easy to work with and seems to have filled the holes perfectly. I bought an extra container to have on the boat for emergencies.

works excellent as a filler in cast aluminum assemblies. Very hard when cured with great surface hardness. Sands and seems to tool nicely. Adheres well to clean metal and is easy to push into voids, cracks and depressions. Feathers nicely too.

I like the way it is easy to use. Grounded the filler into shape but I have to wait and see if it holds up. It looks that it will.

I filled a gouge on the bottom of my aluminum boat. It hardened like steel. The drying time isnt very long. No problem with adhesion. Excellent product.

Works great. I used it for a cracked carburetor that had a slow fuel leak. This filled the crack, looks exactly like the rest of the carb and stopped the fuel leak. Perfect for filling a crack or small hole in a aluminum engine case or carburetor.

I gave this a four star cause it worked great in some hole's i had in my aluminum boat but a couple the stuff fall out and i had to redo them .but it can be sanded and works great as long as it dont fall out.
