Very Impressed. Not Your Ordinary Sticky Paper. Better Than Homemade Remedies.
We were fed up with the fruit flies, gnats, house flies, zipping around the cabin, on our food, on our faces, etc. We decided to give these a try. Did not catch anything for about two days. Boy, on the third day, the tape was covered with these little buggers and even a few flies. I have tried some homemade remedies without much success. We hang them near windows where they like to hang around. No odor. Easy to use and dispose of. Not very attractive to look at but very effective. Be careful, the tape is quite sticky.

Nice and sticky! Don't waste them! READ!
These are priced cheap and very sticky! I am not a fan of killing things but when flies get into your house, they poop everywhere and multiply quickly. If you have a litter box in the house they also get into the boxes and then fly around and touch many surfaces. Unfortunately it requires traps such as these, to rid the problem. It is hard to keep flies out of the house when opening the door, etc. Make sure when you go to hang these you, twist/pull the fly paper out of the tubes at the same time. I pulled some without twisting and they ripped, happened to 2 of them. Don't throw them away if that happens though! If you have an open top trash can in the house, place the ripped one in it. I was still able to catch flies that way as well. *These catch all types of flies, I saw a few reviews that said they do not catch house flies, that is incorrect. Those people would benefit from placing more traps up. Put them up and they will do the job. I suggest putting up a lot of traps, you will get a quicker outcome. Take us for example, we put up 1 in the bathroom, 3 in the living room, 2 in the bedroom, 2 in the backroom and 2 in the kitchen. You cannot expect to put 2 traps up and have that work. Put multiple up in different locations, in each room. They are cheap enough to buy a lot. Look for areas they fly/land most and hang the traps there. Some people do not like the look of them hanging with dead flies, which I totally understand. Maybe that is why they only put up a few? We personally would rather rid the problem. Took us a few days to start to notice the traps working.

Worked well with gnat infestation in bathroom.
Works well. I had an unbelievable gnat invasion in my bathroom. There were maybe 50. In two days, they were stuck to the fly paper. The only issue was that the tack was worthless to tack onto the wall. I used packing tape, and it held up well. It didn't work as well in the kitchen, but the bathroom was infested, and it worked well, so happy. Very pleased with my purchase.

This works!
Did the job just fine. Flys didn't appear to be attracted to it, but if they got close enough they were done. They will get stick with just one tiny leg touching and can never escape. Not for reuse. No odor. Good quality.

Works but Could Be Better
These fly traps are easy to hang and simple to use. They do catch some flies but I expected them to be more effective. I still noticed flies around the house after using them. The sticky strips can also look a little messy once they start collecting flies. Overall, they work to some extent. Some when try to open its damaged. Hope they will fix abd I think the effectiveness could be better.

I think it works
Long story short, this solved our gnat problem but I have no idea how. I don't know if anything got stuck to the tape but the bugs are gone. Since it worked, I won't question it. So we had these annoying gnats/fruit fly like bugs that were only in our bedroom for the most part. There was only like 1 or 2 per day but they were those ones that drives you nuts by flying right in your face and you can never kill them, so we bought these. They opened fairly easily without much force or the string or anything breaking randomly. I took the time to unravel it and tried pulling it tight and holding it like that for a bit, but as soon as I let go then it just wound right back up. I figured it would unravel on its own after hanging it up, so it wasn't a big deal. (The pic with more light shows how it was out of the box the first night) We put it into our ceiling above our computer where those things managed to evoke the most rage in us and went to bed. The very next morning we didn't see any flies. I didn't notice any stuck on the tape either though. Its now been 4 days since putting the fly paper up and we have not seen a single one of those gnats anywhere in my home. I *think* one may be stuck to the paper, but not completely sure, it could be dust too. I really don't understand it. We had these flies for 3 weeks and no severe change in weather or anything else, so I know it was these papers. They're the only change we made. Also side note, it ended up unraveling a little bit after we turned on our humidifier last night, but otherwise it still hasnt really straightened out yet.(You can see in the 2nd pic, the darker one where more of the window is in the shot) Its only been up for 4 days and I just measured it to be about 2 feet, even with it still curled a bit. I saw some other reviewers not like that it didnt unravel completely. I don't mind since it's not like we need the extra tape space and I'd probably manage to hit my head off it somehow if it was longer, which I'm definitely okay with never doing (again). Ultimately we bought this to get rid of our gnat problem, which it did. Even if it wasn't in the expected way. So I'm competely happy with the purchase. And it does seem sticky enough that if they land on it they would get stuck to it. Also getting 8 of them for the price is worth it as well.

Works after a day or two.
They work, they make a mess if they touch anything, and it takes a day or so before you catch a single fly but then all of a sudden they start getting attracted to it. Be careful where you stick them and I've had to remove one from a cats tail, wd40 gets the sticky stuff off surfaces fyi.

Do not store at room temperature!
Store these in a warm room before you use them or they will break when you try to set them up. I left them in a 70 degree room and it was too cold and when you go to deploy them the cardboard cylinder will break away. After 2 hours it has caught nothing, my Raid nearby has caught 6. I will not purchase again.

Very effective
These work surprisingly well and are very effective in doing the job. I deploy 2 in a chicken coop run to assist in reducing fly count, which is high here with recent wet weather and high humidity. This version is much more effective than the larger wider equivalent with the 3D print here in Australia.

Very bad product
I read a review saying do not waste your money on this, I should have listened, do not waste your money seriously this is useless, not a single fly. You might as well hang some toilet paper instead, probably more effective.
