We received three pads, but were not able to use all of them before the last one started to go bad... not surprising, since he's a little guy and I was only feeding him six or seven snips every day or two to supplement his diet. But he enjoyed them. Review: Would buy again! - The babies loved these! They are despined and very fresh. They stay fresh for a long time after purchase as well. ## Features - *** Note that even though there may be no long spines, there may still be some small needles. **** WARNING: It is the Buyer's responsibility to determine if this cactus can be fed to Buyer's tortoise or other pets. By purchasing this product, Buyer agrees and accepts that seller assumes no responsibility or liability. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B010DRMJH6 | | Best Sellers Rank | #60,060 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #449 in Reptile & Amphibian Food | | Brand | ARTISTIC SOLUTIONS | | Brand Name | ARTISTIC SOLUTIONS | | Color | Red | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 3.8 out of 5 stars 433 Reviews | | Flavor | large paddles | | Item Weight | 12 ounces | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 12 | | Size | 12 Ounce (Pack of 1) | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ARTISTIC SOLUTIONS - **Item Weight:** 12 ounces - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Number of Pieces:** 12 - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![12-Oz Fresh Tortoise Turtle Iguana Reptile Super Food Spineless Opuntia Prickly Pear Cactus - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81l3vBD2KKL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what kind of soil should be used for the cactus?** A: Where I live, any soil type works. **Q: will these grow roots if placed in soil?** A: Yes, absolutely - as long as the environmental conditions are hospitable for the cactus in the first place. Most strains including mine are actually extremely foolproof. You can throw the pads flat on the ground, in any orientation or position, and they will grow roots from there. **Q: How do you store these at room temp or in the fridge?** A: We stored ours in the fridge. Our iguana ate a giant leaf a day, so it didn't stay too long in the fridge. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leo the Wayward Tortoise enjoyed these! *by M***E on December 16, 2021* Ordered these in hopes that the little Sulcata who showed up on our front porch would enjoy them, and he definitely did. We received three pads, but were not able to use all of them before the last one started to go bad... not surprising, since he's a little guy and I was only feeding him six or seven snips every day or two to supplement his diet. But he enjoyed them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would buy again! *by D***N on June 27, 2026* The babies loved these! They are despined and very fresh. They stay fresh for a long time after purchase as well. ### ⭐ Not Spineless! *by B***S on October 5, 2026* The first order I made a few months ago was fine. This order had spines and lots of them. Almost like someone cut them off of a cactus on the side of the road and chucked them in an envelope. They were loose in the envelope so it was a heck of a surprise getting a spine in my finger when I reached in. ## Frequently Bought Together - 12-Oz Fresh Tortoise Turtle Iguana Reptile Super Food Spineless Opuntia Prickly Pear Cactus - Mazuri Low Starch Tortoise Diet, for African Spurred/Sulcata, Desert, Egyptian, Galapagos, Gopher, Greek, Leopard, Pancake, Radiated or Yellow-Footed Tortoise, 12 oz - Multipet Tortoise Hay - 24oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/70179700-12-oz-fresh-tortoise-turtle-iguana-reptile-super-food-spineless](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/70179700-12-oz-fresh-tortoise-turtle-iguana-reptile-super-food-spineless) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
