If you want to melt cans, like I always do, look for something a little bigger
The cavity fits a standard soda can exactly which seems cool at first but the fit is so exact that if the can is crumpled at all it won't fit. A crushed can is a definite no-can-do... I can't go for that.

Crucible deteriorates fast
Didn't last through first firing. The crucible started to get smaller in top thickness and eventually fell into the electric furnace on its first run (after curing it). 1150C copper melt 1 KG

only buy if melting aluminum, because it won't last in higher temps
Product looks good but I burned a hole in it before I was able to melt any brass. It lasted about 3 minutes at 950 degrees Celsius. In addition, the side has warped in and i can't get all of my material out of it. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Quality
After one use, it melted a hole on the bottom. Just got it today too. Very disappointed, I even pre heated it and everything.
