An absolute necessity if you use a lot of cooking oil and don't want to be pouring it down your drains and causing clogs. The instructions are easy to read and the measurements are all given plainly so you know just how much to use. Once added to the oil, just let it cool down and it'll solidify into a firm gel you can then remove from the pan and toss in the trash. It's very easy to clean up, and very effective at removing oil from pots or pans. A great value for the price considering what it'll save you in not clogging up your drains. It's plant-based and safe to use around kids and pets.

The waste oil solidified and became very hard, I could only scrape it into very small pieces with a spatula before throwing it in the trash. After scraping, there was still a lot of residue in my pan, and I spent a long time cleaning it with cleaning products. It was exhausting, I hate this product!

I was really impressed with how well this worked. Better and faster than expected. It was a large skillet with a decent amount of grease ;eft in it that I finally gave it a shot at. I started with an amount that seemed likely to be low, but figured I'd see what happened. It worked great.Not a hard product afterwards, but there was no oil moving in the pan when it was pushed to one end and tilted the other direction. It was a simple gel-like substance afterwards that could be thrown straight into the trash with no fear of it leaking.Since I used so little, it seems like a decent value if it is only used when really needed. As long as your oil is pretty hot when mixing it in, it is easy to use. I don't recall there being a smell. If there was any, it wasnt strong enough to stand out in my memory while writing this.

This has change how a fry with oil. I fry with oil so much more now

I saw this stuff on youtube, stuff from Japan. Had to try. It works just as said it would. My drains are thankful. Love it!

When I was deep frying for years my main concern was the proper way of disposing the oil without clogging my plumbing. When I came across this product I thought it was too good to be true but when I tested it I was blown away when I used the flakes to properly dispose the grease. Definitely buy it if you plan on deep frying.
