Works as it should
The needle appears to be stainless steel and is about 10 inches long. It worked well for tufting the buttons on a couch cushion I replaced the foam padding on. The needle is hard to hold while pushing through 5 inch thick, firm foam and one will want to use leather gloves and a push block.

Did the trick!
I knew nothing about replacing upholstery buttons on my Eames lounge chair when I found out I needed this thing. Worked great, not flimsy and the perfect length. Replaced two buttons and chair looks perfect. You are no better than your tools. 😉

Different size received
Needle is just fine except for the fact that it was supposed to be a 3" needle and I received a 9" needle.

Very thick and sturdy needle
I didn’t know they made needles this long. It is very thick and sturdy. This works well with tougher materials such as denim or leather. You can’t beat the price on this product. I would recommend this item.
