BUGGINS Original Insect Repellent - 4 oz Pump Spray Bottle

Now it doesn’t have DEET. So there is that, if you are in a high insect/tick area. But, it smells great. Like a fragrance. And it keeps most insects away. I still got two mosquito bites, while on my lawn. But, you will get compliments at the park. Great smell.

Works extremely well without the harsh smell

Those little guys that bite in the springtime-- this doesn't get rid of them completely but does make life livable in the upper midwest. The scent is strong because it's essential oils, but it does work. Just make sure you only spray on stuff you want to smell that way for a while!

Saw this brand recommended in another review for a different gnat repellent. I live where the gnats/ no see-ums will eat you alive, and you won’t know until a day later when the bites begin to itch so bad it keeps you up at night! Nothing has worked. And I have tried so many different spray repellents from deet to essential oils. I decided to give this a try. This is absolutely amazing!!! I only have to put it on once. It smells a little odd (like mint, vanilla, and geranium), but not strong or offensive at all. I love that it is safe for children and use around pets. This is the only thing that keeps the gnats away from me! It also is very effective against mosquitoes, too. The bottle has a twist/ lock and continuous spray. I highly recommend this! I am already on my second bottle. As everyone I am around wants to use mine!

I bought some of this last year and was impressed with how well it worked for me. I am a buffalo gnat magnet - which is particularly a bad thing for me because I have a severe allergic reaction to them (like needing to carry an epi pen just in case). Needless to say, I will try anything that claims it will keep them away that doesn't contain DEET. I live in Iowa, the home of the buffalo gnat. If this product didn't work I was going to buy netting to protect my face and neck when I was outdoors. I'm all for being considered 'mysterious' or even a little 'unique' but there's not much allure in running around in a beekeepers hat! I tried this product and it works for me really, really well. It has a very sweet - almost cloying smell which isn't terrible, but I am not a fan of vanilla, geranium or rose-based essences. But if it works, I will run around smelling like a Popsicle. We put this to a great test this year. We are wildlife photographers and have been wearing it while in the meadows and the woods to keep the gnats at bay. You need to reapply once in awhile - especially if you sweat a lot. We carry a bottle of this in the pocket of our cargo pants and use as-needed. We don't use it for protection from ticks however, it isn't meant for that. We use a DEET-based repellant on our clothing for ticks. Buy one bottle and give it a try. I don't think you will regret it. Try it on a hot night in your backyard - pretty sure you will be ordering more for your 4th of July picnic and fireworks. Use it on the baby and your children - it is safe for them. Although, use it on a small spot on their skin the first time and wait 24 hours to make sure they do not have a reaction to any of the ingredients before applying all over. (Don't miss your ears!)

Work on gnats better than Off in my experience.

*Is This Watered Down??? -with a Fam of 5 we go thru a can of this every week-week1/2 when we're outside alot. I pay $15.99 Plus tax @ local store; Works GREAT Never had a problem. When I found it on Amazon($9.99 NO tax,& free 2day shipping w/prime) & Original Company listed as seller I thought it would be fine,BUT I immediately noticed it smelled very 'watered down' And definitely does Not repel like can from store. Containers look exactly the same(Left-Amazon,Right-Store bought); I noticed 1 difference,the translucent code stamped on bottom of the can ordered from Amazon 🤷‍♀️ (I wrote the info w/sharpie to know which was which) **Anyway.. This Product is an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY In our home! The flying knats that stay around your face..No where to be found when using This! I hate to leave 2-3☆ review..Did i just get a 'lemon'? I'll be glad to revise review if so. If This is the Actual Legit company w/legit product & would like to look into this further, Make this right show me its the same as store purchase & I assure you You'll have a life long customer ordering several cans a month!

Buggins is an excellent product! Highly recommend to keep the biting gnats away!!
