Brinsea uses high accuracy sensors and computer modeled temperature/humidity mapping technology to create stable, consistent conditions optimum for achieving high hatch rates even for the more challenging species.

How should I set the eggs in the incubator?

Set only fertilized eggs after the incubator reaches the correct temperature. Discard cracked, misshapen, or dirty eggs. Place them on their sides or pointed end down, following your incubator’s guidelines for best results.

How does the turning work and when should it be stopped?

Eggs turn every 45 minutes by default, but you can adjust the interval as needed. Stop turning 3 days before hatch. Set eggs so they reach hatch day together especially when mixing species with different incubation periods.

Should I help chicks hatch?

Only assist if the chick has pecked most of the way around the shell and has been struggling for a long time. Most chicks hatch on their own and helping too soon can cause injury or bleeding.
