Kurt Adler UL0885 Lighted Bow Hanger Tree Topper, 14-Inch, Red

I personally thought it looked comfortable for an angel to sit on top of a tree, and for the zillion different stars that are out there, I can never find one I like, so I always hoped I'd find something different but never really knew what. When I saw this, I loved the idea but wasn't really sure how it would turn out, especially with the lights, and I wondered if it would be too big for my 6 foot tree. I LOVE IT and so did everyone else. In daylight with the lights off or at night with the lights on, it looks very nice and elegant. It did not dwarf my 6 foot tree but worked well and think it could hold it's own just fine on a 7 or 8 foot tree as well, probably 9ft as well. When you actually pick it up or move it, I do think there is a weird cheapness in the feeling of the material, and i'm very worried it won't be durable over the years b/c it's kind of stringy and lose. I have no better idea how to describe it b/c I don't know what it's made out of but there it feels a bit like some fake garland thing or something... sorry, not sure. But, that said, if you handle it carefully and store it well, even standing near it by the tree, it seems to look fine, it only FEELS cheap. I still rated it 5 stars, and if mine does fall apart eventually, I'd probably replace it... too expensive to do every year, but if I get three years out of it, I'd feel it was worth it, and I hope and think it will last longer than that with good care.

This product is way over priced for what it is. My value would be ~$20 and not $43. But I did give a four star rating because it does look nice on top of the tree. Which brings me to another issue this has that prevents me from giving it five stars. There is no mounting hardware to attach it to the top of a tree except a couple of small zip-ties. A simple spring loaded clip would much better. Some other reviews commented on the material this bow is made from. It is unusual but seems to be fairly durable and I think it will last many seasons if it's cared for. All in all, my wife is happy and a happy wife means a happy life for me. Cheap, cheap, cheap ! When I paid 49 bucks and change for this, I rightfully assumed that it would be a substantial, well made item. Boy, was I surprised when I opened the box! This thing is a piece of cheesy plastic. It looks like something you would buy in Wal-mart for $7.99. Thankfully, I could return it and get a refund. Lets hear it for Amazon! So folks, the moral to the story is: STAY AWAY FROM THIS ITEM ! Spend your money on something else. This is a RIP-OFF!

Should have believed the other reviews. Most of the lights had come out of their guides, so we had to spend some time trying to get them put back in place, and the bottom ribbons were folded like they were for others. It just looks cheap and doesn't look good at all on our tree. Going to return.

It's a very pretty bow but I wouldn't call it a tree topper. There's only a small ring on the top. If you look at the photo it appears to be a spiral wire under the middle of the bow which would indicate there's a way to fit it on the top of your tree. However, there is no spiral wire only a small ring at the top so we had to return it.

I buy a lot of merchandise online and I have never written a review, but I just have to for this product. I read the reviews and was a little skeptical to purchase it because of the few bad reviews. I have purchased things in the past after I read bad reviews and I was ultimately disappointed in the product and wish I had taken heart to the reviews. Even with the bad experiences, I still did not write a review. Who has time to write a review? I'm taking the time now because I absolutely LOVE this product. I'm not a 'bow' type of person and spent hours looking for a tree topper star that was red and gold. I could not find one I liked. I came across this product and book marked it and kept going back to it. I decided to give it because it looked so pretty, even though I'm not a 'bow' person. When I opened the package I felt like Dorothy seeing the ruby slippers for the first time. This bow is absolutely beautiful and does not look cheap or feel cheap. I put it on my tree without using the zip ties that come with it. It has a round wire ring at the top of the bow and this was plenty sufficient to hang the bow. Once I plugged in the bow I was even more amazed. If you pack the bow with care it should last a lifetime. I don't understand the previous reviews where they stated it was 'cheap'. I would pay triple the price for this bow. I am one happy camper as it put the perfect finish to my beautiful red, gold and crystal themed tree with white lights.

Very beautiful tree topper. I absolutely loved it and it looks amazing. The only thing I did not like is that the way it looks on to the tree was not the way it is shown in the picture. Instead of a spiral stand it has a little metal loop that hooks onto a branch

The picture is inaccurate. This did not come with a tree topper. What should be center is weirdly off center, really high on the bow and is crushed. This product is a cheap plastic like material that was folded when shipped, to the ribbons have a crease now. It looks and feels so so cheap. Like something from the dollar tree. I’m not even going to plug this in. So disappointed.
