Nilight 2pcs Under Hood Light Strip 42LED Waterproof Underhood Work Light

Easy to install. Super sticky good grip. Very bright. Was expecting cheap quality for the price or the sticky tape to come unglued because I have a steel hood that gets hot with the engine temp but it’s holding up well after one week. Didn’t need instructions just used common sense

Great little strip for under the hood of my 2000 tahoe. The OE tilt light fixture stopped working and barely did its intended job anyway. I installed this strip in a perfect little area by the hood latch, ran the wire under the hood pad and then mounted the supplied switch to the old light housing. Tapped into the OE wires and BAM!Great light. Great cost. Plenty of wire. Easy install. Like most Nilight stuff I've used, this product makes you smile if you like lighting.

I absolutely love these lights! They are high quality and very bright. I think they will last a long time. The built in switch is what exactly what I was looking for! I hate those ones with the little spring loaded doohickey that always breaks. With an on/off switch these work exactly like I want. Wiring length was more than sufficient for installing on the hood. Great value for how bright they are.

Strong underlighting for breakdowns at night on dark country roads. Perfect and light up the entire engine compartment. Highly recommend.My husband direct wired them with a switch in his console.

It works but the plug is different than my 92YJ so it doesn’t clip. Hasn’t came loose yet so I’m not that worried about it.

Bought two of these lights. ran the wiring in the cavity of the hood, taped the lights in place, connected the wiring...nothing. Neight one works. One came without a switch. Not worth the aggravation and the time wasted installing them. DO NOT BUY!!

Installed within 10 mins and really helps me to be able to work on my car at night without cumbersome flashlights. It is very bright. Fit my Mustang hood perfectly. Ran the cable behind the hood insulation and down to the battery. I do wish that these add on electrical devices actually had terminal ends that could go over a standard 12v battery post, but nope. Its minor but still wouldve been nice instead of having to fudge with what they give you instead. Wont knock off any stars for it tho since all these types of things are made like that.

Awesome! Comes with everything you’ll need to install. Install was very easy and the installation instructions were perfect! Highly recommend. I have a small car so the base set I bought was very good. For my truck I will buy the larger set of LED light strips.

Worked fine when installed but less than two months later it doesn’t shut off and it’s not because it was installed improperly. It came on when the hood was opened and you could see it shut off just before closing when it was initially installed.

Very bright works awesome

This package arrived quickly and contained everything I required to install the light. It was straight forward and only "tinkering was routing the wires in a neat path to be safely out of the way and secure.
