I wanted to love everything about this book BUT – did not find ...
I purchased the UK version as I was too impatient to wait for the US release! I have to say I am a huge fan of Sarah and her philosophy around food – JERF (just eat real food). I wanted to love everything about this book BUT – did not find that I bookmarked a lot of the recipes. This is more than a cookbook however. The focus is on nutrient dense whole foods and sustainability. The recipes are family/kid friendly, with tips on preparing ahead, freezing and fermenting. I have made the 'gut loving gummies' and am looking forward to trying the ‘not quite banana bread' with blueberries. The book is huge – 376 pages and over 300 recipes. I love the layout and liberal use of photos on nearly every page. There are handwritten style notes in the margins that some may dislike but I enjoyed them. Overall, I think this is a keeper for me and I hope to reference it frequently.

This book exceeded my expectations. It is chock full of great information, cleverly presented, and with a sense of levity that is refreshing in a book about food and lifestyle. It's a welcome addition to my kitchen, and I'm savoring every page!

Stunningly beautiful and full of practical recipes
I use this book multiple times a week for low-fructose family recipes. One of my favorite aspects is the book focuses on using all of the ingredients and not throwing anything away. The "Leftovers Index" is one of the best parts. I have a few of Sarah's other books but this one is my favorite.

Excellent book for Diabetic patients, like myself
This awesome book begs me to delve into it and get my sugar under control I am a type II Diabetic, I think I found my will with this amazing book.

Fun Book; FULL of surprises
My daughter had a copy. I spent some time with it and ordered a copy for myself, Fun Book; FULL of surprises ... things I never knew. As Hayden would say: "Every day's a SCHOOL DAY."

Inspirational
I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. I found Sarah’s tips so inspirational, that I’m back on the health wagon. Thank you, Sarah. I must say that this book might be a bit daunting for those who aren’t already following a pretty healthy life style already. But, this bumped me up to the next level. I love the idea of making use of everything. A broth bag for the freezer is my new thing, and my bone broth is simmering away as I write this.

Sugar free inspiration
We all know adding lots refined sugar to our food and drink is A Very Bad Idea and is frowned upon.This book seeks to offer simple solutions for suitable substitutions. Loads of recipes use sweet potato purée, grated courgette or parsnip, all of which I love so I was very happy.A great selection of recipes with lots of hints and tips for reducing waste and making the most out of batch cooking and freezing.I’m keen to read her other books for more inspiration now!

Good Recipes
Love some of the recipes, I found it a bit difficult to flick through when picking recipes as they are all over the place, sometimes with multiple on one page. But I have tried a couple of recipes and they were really nice

Interesting and Informative
really interesting and informative book, so much more than a recipe book. Bought when I was just quitting sugar. This is what I am looking for with LCHF diet, which I have progressed to and so for this book still gives me a lot more help. I just ignore the ingredients I am not using anymore and use my imagination to adapt and move on. This will definitely stay in my library.

Very informative, however the recipes are quite complex and be prepare to put the time in to prep before hand. Also not all your everyday ingredients, so some of these can be costly
