Yes, it does have a small strap which goes with it, If I was a person wanting to carry it about a lot , replace the original with a Rifle sling with padding. The small coffin is so neat...

Will this hold a Shure 55Sh microphone?

My husband uses this as a gun case. The interior of this case very thick. I highly doubt that type of microphone will fit.

If you put a glock in this case how do you keep it from sliding around?

Well there isn't a whole lot of space between the top pad of the case and the bottom pad of the case, it may not slide around at all, but I'd tell you to buy extra foam and insert it in the top zipping pocket, or in the same pocket add plush stuffing
