Good price and excellent quality smart watch.
This watch has been a great replacement for my Apple watch 6. Battery life is exponentially better, even with the screen set to always-on. With heavy use, after two days the battery was still at 80%. I basically wanted a smartwatch just for the notifications, and don't care about the fitness aspects. It was easy to disable the stuff that I didn't want. Iphone notifications are easy to read and work exactly like you would expect. I love the round body and huge selection of watch faces to choose. The style is nice, and it has a solid build feel. So far, I am very pleased!

Very pleased with this purchase
So far I love this watch. It was more expensive than my first amazfit, but better quality and much cheaper than a fitb** (which hasn’t had good reviews for a few years). I love that I already had the Zepp app, so the transition between watches was seamless. This amazfit’s biometrics are soooooooo much more accurate than my previous model. I like that it works with Alexa, and it pairs and works well with my iPhone. The heart rate monitor, pedometer, and other features is far superior to my previous model. I haven’t and will not be testing whether or not it’s waterproof. The screen is bright and clear (which is important with visual impairment). The leather band is really nice and makes the watch look better quality. It’s been 3 days and my watch is still above 60% battery. I like the new disk charging mechanism which works with a type c cable, but also will charge on the cable from my Bip3. I truly recommend this watch. It’s a reasonable price point, great features with a bright and clear screen and pairs well with all my other devices.

Amazfit Active 2 Review: The Garmin and Apple Watch Rival I Didn’t See Coming
As someone who has used everything from Apple Watches to various Garmin models, I went into the Amazfit Active 2 with high expectations—and honestly, it has blown me away. For a watch that sits at such an aggressive price point, I felt like the "premium" experience starts the moment you start unboxing the product. First Impressions: The "Out-of-the-Box" Factor The packaging is surprisingly impressive. Often, budget-friendly options lack in this area and it can be obvious that it is a budget-friendly option just purely due to the packaging alone. But Amazfit clearly took a page out of the high-end playbook here. The unboxing has the kind of presentation that makes you feel like you’ve bought a piece of luxury tech rather than just a cheap fitness tracker. Setup & Sync: Pretty Effortless Integration If you’ve ever struggled with a finicky Bluetooth pairing process, you’ll appreciate how seamless this is. Just turn on the Amazfit 2, download the Zepp app, scan the QR code and you're set. Within three minutes, I had my notifications configured, my health data syncing, and a new watch face installed. - Note, my watch did force me to update the software prior to being able to doing too much on the watch. This took about 10 minutes. The UI: Smooth, Snappy, and Spot On This is where the Active 2 truly earns its keep. Coming from the fluid (but battery-hungry) Apple Watch and the data-rich (but sometimes clunky) Garmin interface, I was skeptical about Zepp OS. The UI on the watch is exceptionally smooth (almost too smooth? If that can be a thing). There’s no noticeable stutter when swiping through widgets, and the touch response is immediate. The app icons look premium and overall I think it will be a great option to track my fitness and sleep. The Verdict As someone who has lived in the Apple and Garmin ecosystems, I am genuinely impressed. The Amazfit Active 2 doesn't just "compete" for the price—it stands on its own merits for design, ease of use, and software performance. If you want the premium feel without the "premium" tax, this is the one.

A Good Watch for the $$$
I’m only giving it 4 stars so far for just like a few minor things but nothing that keeps me from recommending it. i don’t do this often, but i like this watch. Even though I’m an iphone user. it works, it’s not the apple watch though but it does what i need. tracks my health, notifications, lets me knows about calls. i don’t need to talk into my watch i'm not a power ranger. im on day 4 of the battery so far at 57% and i charged it when i got it. i did buy a cover for it and its very nice. there’s different watch faces how other smart watches do, some of them are cool but have to pay for. there’s also an option to use your own photo so the watch band is my favorite. if you have small wrist or if you wanna get it for your like kid age 10+ this is a good affordable start if you want them to have a watch. i don’t like the idea of having to keep the app open all the time for it to be full connection BUT you can still be connected to your phone. still working out the gimmicks but it’s a very nice watch for the price it is, i was very impressed on the price which is why i got it. I like the lock option and DND option for when i'm sleeping so i don't fumble with it

I was indeed “amazed” to see this Amazfit active 2 premium watch. And more so at this price range it worth each of your buck. I won’t write much on its gr8 features as it well written already by others. The look and feel of this gadget is impressive. It works well on each of its features viz fitness workouts, accuracy or heart beat and spo2 I loved the auto workout detection - a welcome change from my earlier fossil watch which was supposed to be a premium one and yet no such option. At this price range it beats most of its peers on functionality and effectiveness. Considering its awesome features and functions and utility - On price it has no competition at all. One more thing - it’s compatible with iPhone - works like a charm A sure go to product if you are a conscious fitness enthusiast !

Lightweight, Extremely Accurate, and Outstanding Battery Life After using the Amazfit Active 2 (44mm) for a full year, I can confidently say this smartwatch delivers exceptional value. The first thing I noticed is how lightweight the watch feels on the wrist. It is comfortable for all-day wear, including sleep tracking. Battery performance is one of its biggest strengths. Even with sleep tracking turned on, I charge the watch only twice a month. In one full year of usage, I have used my 4× charger cycle in a single month, which shows how efficient the battery truly is. In terms of accuracy, the watch performs exceptionally well. I have compared the readings many times with other brands and devices, and the results are equally accurate and consistent. The Zepp app is another major advantage. It provides reliable syncing, clear reports, and strong customization options. The support for custom open-source mini-apps made by developers is extremely useful, especially small apps for exercise, notifications, and utility functions. Overall, this smartwatch stands out because of its light weight, long battery life, high accuracy, and excellent app ecosystem. A solid, dependable product that has impressed me throughout the year.

Excellent budget watch for the price. I haven't look for a spotify app since I paired it with my phone and haven't seen any problem controlling the music from the watch (you need to swipe right on the watch and play the music from that screen to control the music from your phone). Battery life is so far so good In two days of general usage I haven't gone below 90% (surprisingly good considering the price of watch). Activities will of course eat a little more battery. For cyclist fan you can important a gpx file directly on the watch (tutorials are available on the web). You can important a map directly on the screen of the watch for free and see the area where you walk, run or cycle. Speaking through the watch works fine when receiving a call. Plenty of choice of activities. Bonus point, I like the OS. You can choose your backgroung like in a computer and even get "live background on it". Metrics from biosensors seems almost accurate eventough not perfect. But you do get a lot of "bang for your buck" considering the price of the watch. Using a silicone bracelet will make it look like a sport watch, using a leather bracelet will be more office usage. Notification are handled correctly (as you can press on the notification to see it or simply ignore it. You can consult your agenda on it, the weather and you get plenty of choice of appliation to install (wherter for location, navigation etc...). The AMOLED is a big plus for those who like smartwatches. The flashlight option makes the screen go white as oppose to a real flashlight. For weight lifters the bug concerning not having the ability to count reps has been fixed by the company recently so it works to save your workout. You can also put your membership cards on it. I haven't tried the watch at the cashier for payment thought as I don't like putting the payment options on a watch for security purposes. It's not perfect but it's certainly a viable options against higher end smart watch for budget sensitive people.
