This Zaku is made out of Gundanium and almost broke my finger.
I really love the color scheme of this model, it's one of the first 5 kits I've attempted to do in 10 years, and that's saying something. I've had fun with a lot of other kits so far, but out of the gate this one was extremely frustrating and I'm not certain if I got a bad mold or I'm still just extremely rusty. But from the first step to the second placing the outer chest pieces for the shoulders to go was extremely difficult, it took me about fifteen minutes to get a side in place, and even then I noticed that the polycap that would go for the arm is completely out of alignment on the Zaku's frame. I don't see how an arm is going to work in here, but I'm still new to the newer model kits. It's not a horrible kit at all, but if I got a bad model and it ends up not fitting with the arms within a day I'm definitely going to return it and request another one because the pin near the left shoulder completely snapped off when I was trying to set up the shoulder part, and now if I remove it I'm relatively certain that it won't even be able to hold the armor any longer. I've never in about twelve years had so much trouble just setting up something so simple with Gunpla before. It's a bummer too, but it won't push me away from finishing this kit somehow, even if I have to return it and get another one.Edit: As of 8/10/2015 I got the replacement Zaku and it turns out that my original kit was a bit warped from the weather, which is no fault of anybody's at all. I had a wonderful time putting this kit together when the replacement came, and it's absolutely worth the purchase.Actually, I don't typically like the Zaku II's green color scheme, and when I saw the Shin Matsunaga white Zaku I leaped at the chance to build it. Fantastic kit, the colors (or lack thereof) really sit well on the figure, and the stickers weren't hard to put on at all. Absolutely a 5/5 kit for intermediate HG builders since there's certain parts that are kinda fragile, and extremely small stickers.

Zaku Looks Good
I decided to get into model building. Especially Gunpla. In the past two and a half months I built two tank models five High Grade Gunpla models and one Master Grade.I ordered this Zaku II High Grade since he is quite popular in Gunpla in all grades. I was interested in this color scheme this model sports.Built it the day before yesterday. It took me about five hours and I still have the weapons to build.I was very pleased with finished Zaku model. The color scheme of him in all white with some accents look very good. This would also be a great kit to paint and make your own personalized Zaku. He's small since it's a HG 144 scale model. What impressed me most was how solid Zaku feels and his proportions look good. This was a simple and yet challenging kit for the beginner or advanced builder and Zaku fans.I intend to build the Master Grade version of this model.

My Favorite HG Kit
This Zaku has all sorts of details the usual doesn't, particularly with the legs and thrusterpack on the back, and was an absolute joy to build and line. The black heat hawk is exceptionally cool as well. The weapons clip to the shield, all of the joints are just snug enough, multiple command fins and the option of no fin, spare drum for the rifle, and the color scheme is a nice change of pace. I will be ordering more of these after Im done kitbashing and weathering this one. Definitely my favorite kit.

and I gotta say it looks great once built
This was my very first model kit. and I gotta say it looks great once built...But it is quite flimsy. The legs can barely stay on the waist and often times pops off. I had my own personal issues / mistakes with the model kit since it was my first time and most of the faults were my own. But its a pretty good kit teaching you the basics and its a Zaku, can't get enough Zakus.

Great build, love the color
Boys pilot Gundams, real men pilot Zakus.I was looking into getting a Zaku, when i saw the Shin matsunaga ver. I absolutely love the color scheme! It's fairly easy to construct, with a large amount of decays to decorate the frame. Only problem I have is the low amount of mobility it has compared to newer gunpla, but that's to be expected. Solid 5/5.

Excellent quality/Easy to assemble
This is definitely one of the better High Grade Gunpla models I've purchased. Package was shipped fast and arrived in excellent condition. Quite indeed a more unique Zaku than usual and a must have for collectors.
