Smaller than what I wanted for single pizza
These worked out just okay. We got them for a birthday party and had everyone make singles pizza - I think our real pizza stones were just fine and should have just stuck with that vs the extra purchase of these.

Multiple use!!!
Expensive, but worth it. I use these on my propane and white gas Coleman stoves as a heat deflector/ reducer. After making coffee, I place one of these over burner and set burner on lowest setting (absolutely as low as you can get it) and then place coffee pot atop the stone. Keeps it nice and warm, but not boiling. A good 3/8" thick.

Works well and more compact than a single pizza stone
We have lots of experience using pizza stones to get that perfect crispy crust… homemade pizza transforms into restaurant quality pizza. The idea of this 4-piece square set from Old Stone Pizza Kitchen is kind of fun. It gives you the option to use the stones pushed together for a larger pizza, but stackable in a smaller space for storage. And, this set allows a little bit more space to accommodate an irregularly shaped pizza. If you’re like my wife, pizza dough does not cooperate to roll out into a perfectly round shape. For out test we pushed all the stones together tightly before preheating the oven. We preheated the oven to 475F, then waited a half hour before putting our pizza on the stones. We used cornmeal on the pizza peel underneath the dough. I highly recommend this step, as it really helps the dough to slide off the peel and adds a nice little crunch to the crust. The edges where the stones meet did allow some cornmeal through, but we had no issues with the pizza crust or any toppings slipping through. We always have an oven liner on our bottom rack anyway, and use the top rack to cook. The liner catches any drips and crumbs and allows for easier cleaning. The crust baked fully in about 18-20 minutes. Although it was not as crispy as we are used to when using a different pizza stone, it wasn’t a disappointment. I think 500F for this set will give a result closer to what we’re used to. The instructions repeatedly warn not to submerge the pizza stones in water. I scrubbed mine under running water and immediately dried them with a towel, then let them air dry the rest of the way for days. Even so, the stones released steam while I was preheating them in the oven, which I didn’t expect. Maybe it was just because it was their very first use? We have a wire brush for cleaning our other pizza stones, but the instructions for this set say to use a ‘non-abrasive nylon brush or sponge’ so I’m unsure if any other tools can be used for stuck-on food. As I had ordered the unglazed set of stones, I expected to have to season them by cooking something greasy on them. Surprisingly, the instructions say ‘Do not bake cookies, turnovers, or other items with a significant fat content directly on the stone’. I find that really weird given that the final listing photo shows one cookie on each stone in the oven! There was no prep work required to be able to use the pizza stones, other than washing and thoroughly drying them. The listing claims they can withstand heat up to 1100F or 1450F. I look forward to trying them on my grill and maybe even over a campfire. The small size of an individual stone will be perfect for travel. They worked pretty similarly to our round pizza stones and made us a couple of tasty pizzas. I’m happy with this set.

Awesome Stones, Great Price, Almost Perfect (Just One Tiny Nitpick)
Unboxing/Presentation: Tightly packed, they were protected from damage in shipping by Styrofoam, that was nice to see. For a detailed explanation of the one problem I have with this item (in the packaging) see below. Functionality: These things work really well. Comparable to every other pizza stone I’ve used. You *should* let them heat up slowly in the oven as getting too hot too quickly can cause any stone to crack and break. Having four smaller ones you can put together is really nice. You can make four small (and I mean, very small) or one medium pizza. Each stone is 7.5” x 7.5” so I mean, you’re looking at 14” pizza max with them all together. You’re not baking a full family size pizza. Maybe a medium for the kiddos, or for you and one other. My wife has used pans, stones and every other “pizza’ thing to cook with. These work in a conventional oven, they work better (albeit it slightly slower) and to a better (much better) effect. Finish: You can see in my pics ho they look. The carved company name/logo does not hinger the stones one bit, they look good, feel good and just make a nice presentation. The one thing I thing I have an issue with, and will ding it one star for is the packaging. You can see in my pics, they come in this four-way folded cardboard. That’s not very secure and you have to be careful when you pull these out of the box each time, that they don’t slide or drop on. That four-way fold doesn’t hold the stones in, one you pull that thing out of the box. I find I have to put the box down on the counter, slide the cardboard holders sideways, and be careful I don’t drop them. If they came in a better holder, for those four stones, this would be perfect. It doesn’t affect the stones, but it’s not the best, it’s style over functionality in an area where poor functionality can cause you to drop the stones. All of that aside – four stars. Improve the packaging to hold the stones more securely when removing from the box, and this will be perfect. Even the price is more than fair.

Great for pizza parties
I love these pizza stones. They are quality stones and work great for individual pies, or one big pie. I am from the west coast and my husband is from the east coast. I like Hawaiian pizza, you know, the one with pineapple on it, he detests it. I cannot even order a pizza that has pineapple on 1/2 of the pizza, so these have solved that problem. I showed him that I was making individual pizza, and promised my pineapple would not come in contact with his meatsa pizza, he was fine with that!! The pizza crust comes out nice and crisp but not burnt. They clean up easily, after cooling. These work great for reheating your pizza slices, keeping them crisp, not soggy like when you microwave you left over pizza for breakfast. I have used this for cheese sandwiches in the oven, and they heat the bread up evenly making for a nice, evenly grilled sandwich. They are made of high-quality stone that is glazed on one side. There are 4 individual stones, and they are 7-1/2" square stones. Perfect for a 6" individual pizza. A quick wipe soap and water once the stones have cooled is all it takes to clean them. I have had no issues with the crust sticking to the stones at all. I do spray a little olive oil on the stone before placing the dough on it for cooking. The stones come packaged in an attractive box that would make a great gift for any occasion.

Too small to be practical for full sized oven.
Partially my fault for purchasing these, as they are very small and don't serve much of a purpose that I have been able to think of yet. Too small to be practical for pizza. I guess they might work well for a toaster oven when you don't have enough space for a larger stone.

👁️ Fun, Versatile Individual Pizza Stones with Great Quality but Limited Use as a Full Set
✅ Practical Testing and Honest Impressions: I was looking for smaller pizza stones and thought this set would be a good fit. These 7½” x 7½” Cordierite stones proved to be highly practical for personal pizzas, breads, and other small-batch items, though using them combined as one large surface does present some challenges. ✏️ What to Know in 30 Seconds: • Set includes four Cordierite stones (also available glazed) • Each stone measures 7.5” x 7.5” • Heat resistant up to 1450°F • Can be used individually or arranged together for larger baking projects • Lightweight and easy to handle 🍕 Build & Features: • Material: Cordierite, known for durability and excellent heat resistance • Size: Each piece sized for small pizzas, pastries, or breads • Versatility: Can be used separately or pieced together (though gaps can be an issue) • Durability: Sturdy enough for heavy use at very high temperatures • Maintenance: Easy to clean and maneuver due to manageable size 🔥 How It Performs in Daily Use: For personal-sized pizzas and smaller baking projects, these stones work extremely well. They preheat quickly, retain heat consistently, and create a nice crisp crust. Using all four pieces together to form a 15-inch surface sounds good in theory, but gaps between stones make it tricky, pizza peels can catch on the edges, and dough can sag or drip into the cracks. In my experience, using them individually offers the most convenience, especially when hosting a group where everyone can make their own mini pizza. They are lightweight, easy to clean, and store neatly, which adds even more to their day-to-day usefulness. ⭐ What I Liked Most: • Perfect size for individual pizzas or small breads • Quick to heat and excellent at retaining even temperatures • Lightweight and easy to move or rearrange • Durable construction for high-heat use • Great versatility for personal or group cooking ⚠️ Things to Consider: • Difficult to use seamlessly as one large stone due to gaps • Standard ovens may struggle to fit all four together without overlap • Crusts or toppings may fall through the cracks when using stones side-by-side • Slight unevenness between stones can cause handling challenges with a pizza peel ✅ Best For: Families, couples, or anyone who enjoys making personalized pizzas, breads, or small baked goods and prefers the flexibility of using smaller stones over a single large slab. ✍🏼 Final Verdict: The Old Stone Pizza Kitchen 4-piece set is a fantastic choice for personalized cooking, offering flexibility, high heat resistance, and great performance for individual pizzas and more. While combining them into a full pizza surface can be tricky, their usefulness and convenience for small-scale baking projects make them a fun and smart addition to any kitchen. ⭐ Star Rating: 4.5/5 Honest, detailed, and unbiased reviews ensure that every purchase may be completed with confidence. This feedback is based on real experience, offering clear insights to help consumers make informed decisions.
