REUZEL Green Grease Pomade Medium Hold Low Shine 0.21 lb

So I ordered this a couple of months ago and was both excited and hesitant about what it was going to be like versus the gel that I had been using for the last several years. The quality of the gel I was previously using had begun to flake by the end of the day and I realized that their quality control or their care had fallen off completely. I did quite a bit of research and talked to a few different stylists who told me that this one was expensive but very very reliable and extremely easy on the hair. It smells really really good although I don't know how to articulate the smell you'll just have to trust me. It feels great by the end of the day it doesn't feel like a waxing mess in my hair and when I go to wash it out it comes out very very easy and clean. It doesn't feel all greasy and it looks very very natural if you use a little and if you use a lot it comes off with the appearance of throwing it in 15 or 20 minutes after getting out of the shower which can be a damp but not wet look. It's not at all greasy. Really really good stuff and I'm going to start getting this from here on out. I might try a couple different variations of it but this is definitely my new go to company for this kind of product.

One of the cleanest products I've used so far. I have a faux hawk and it takes some love to keep it looking fresh at 50. Most pomades and shapers use wax, petroleum, and ingredients that stayed in my hair for at least a week after washing they left residue on my pillow and most of them smells like a teen that discovered Axe body spray. With the ones I've used prior, even dying my hair was a nightmare because the dye could not bind even after all that time of the prior products being 'washed' out of my hair. This little can (on here to buy the bigger one today) was magic, not heavy, kept my hair on point, washed out clean, stayed in for a full day and night, and didn't leave a bunch of residue on my pillow if I crashed before washing it out. And the light mint smell is clean and doesn't mean with my body scents. Huge fan.

This is my favorite hair product. I love this company. I feel like a little bit of product goes a long way. It’s really effective in staying in my hair all day- honestly, sometimes even the next day if I don’t wash it out, I could potentially still have a decent hair day because of the product that effectively stays in there. It’s nice that I don’t have to reapply the product throughout the day, and it doesn’t look or feel greasy, which is really nice. Definitely a great product for anyone looking to get some hold, that looks effortless and smell smells great. Don’t really have a bad thing to say about it.

Read item description before purchasing! First off, this pomade is good and holds my hair well, without making it too greasy looking. I find that it does weigh my hair down a little bit, but it’s not horrible. After a while, it does seem to get a slight crunchy feeling while in my hair. So far it has not flaked on me and it is easy to wash out. The scent reminds me of a chocolate mint patty. It’s not overbearing, it is very subtle. The reason for 4 stars… The price I paid for a 1oz can is outrageous. It may be good for traveling but I do not think it’s worth the price. It was definitely my fault for not noticing the size of the product. Overall, for the price and quality of the product, it’s very mediocre. It’s definitely not the worst pomade, but it’s not the greatest.

Not sure about all these negative reviews, but I’ve bought this a couple of times now, and it’s become one of my favorite hair products. It gives a strong hold, but still leaves a matte finish, which is exactly what I was looking for. I don’t like products that make my hair look shiny or overly styled, and this keeps everything in place without that greasy look. I have a lot of fine, wavy hair and the texture is easy to work with, and a little goes a long way. It gives enough control to style my hair in the morning and still have it look decent later in the day. I also really like that it washes out easily. Some clay products feel like they’re glued into your hair by the end of the day, but this one rinses out without a fight. Overall, it’s a solid product. Good hold, natural finish, easy to use, and doesn’t leave my hair feeling gross. Definitely one I’ll keep buying.

Premium performing pomade. Goes on smoothly, no clumping or flaking and no shine - as my barber suggested. I have Asian male black hair (thick) and it holds place throughout the day. And if performance wasn’t enough, it smells better than 90% of my colognes (collector) it’s absolutely divine

Edit: Holy Moly! What happened to the price of this? I bought this a month ago for $14.99 here, this very same product. Now it's $27? Even including tariffs it shouldn't be that much. Changing my rating from five stars down to three because of this. Original Review: I love in general the suavecito product line. But I was on the hunt for something a little different, a little less crunchy and I came across this and decided to pull the trigger. Very pleasantly surprised. The texture is not sticky, not shiny, washes out really easily with water and not crunchy but with excellent hold that can be readjusted easily whenever you need to. With short hair the styling effect was really easy to work with in fact it was the easiest when I compared it to suavecito clay which I know is not the same substance but still. Id like to see it at a lower price point jajaja. Lastly the 10 comes in at 3.84 Oz which is right underneath the TSA travel limit for pomades.

Good stuff and leaves hair soft, manageable and stays in place. Not sure what folks are talking about with the strong scent. Seemed subtle to my nose.

I've been using this product on and off for a couple years. It has always been expensive for what it is, but this year, it's just gotten silly. I paid $13.99 for this, and can see that as of today, it has gone up to $17.99. There are plenty of similar products out there, and my advice based on value for money would be to look elsewhere outside of the Reuzel brand.

I was using Suavecito's fibre pomade for a few years, but they seem to have discontinued it. This is the best replacement I have found. It is non-sticky, no residue or flaking, and the medium hold leaves some natural bounce to my hair, which happens to be naturally quite curly. This stuff helps to tame the curls a little, but not by just making my hair unnaturally stiff. I recommend it.

Ich habe sehr dichtes und welliges Haar, und mit der Reuzel 2025 Road Trip blauen Pomade kann ich meine Haare beliebig formen, was mit vielen anderen Pomaden nur sehr schwer oder gar nicht möglich ist. Der starke Halt gibt Struktur und Kontrolle, ohne dass die Haare unangenehm hart werden. Besonders positiv ist der hochglänzende Look, der trotzdem gepflegt wirkt und nicht fettig aussieht. Die Pomade lässt sich gleichmäßig verteilen, auch bei dickem Haar, und man kann die Frisur im Laufe des Tages problemlos nachstylen, da sie nicht sofort austrocknet. Der Duft ist sehr angenehm, frisch und nicht aufdringlich – auch für andere Personen gut wahrnehmbar, ohne zu stören. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist außerdem, dass die Pomade wasserlöslich ist und sich sehr leicht auswaschen lässt, selbst ohne aggressives Shampoo. Was man noch erwähnen kann: Kein starkes Verkleben der Haare Kein sichtbares Rückstandsgefühl Ideal für klassische Styles, Slickbacks oder strukturierte Looks Sehr ergiebig – man braucht nur eine kleine Menge Fazit: Eine Top-Pomade für dickes und welliges Haar, mit starkem Halt, tollem Glanz und sehr guter Alltagstauglichkeit. Für mich deutlich besser als viele andere Pomaden in dieser Kategorie.
