At least for the medium, the baseboard is a single piece that slips under the center divider, so there are no issues with it sliding around. That does mean you can't collapse half of it, but for the medium size I don't think that is a real issue. I do like that you can take the baseboard out, collapse the whole thing and buckle it shut.
