I'm going to be brutally honest here: I NEVER put anything onto or into my body that is MIC as I just have such a fear of all of the what ifs. I don't know why I decided to take a risk with this cream but I did and surprisingly I'm impressed! I'd been wanting to try tallow cream for quite some time because I'd read that it was the closest thing you could get to human sebum, and since my skin is sooo dry, is aging, and lacking its own sebum production, I wanted to see if it would be at all helpful. I'm 40-years-young, of mixed Pacific Islander and Asian descent with year round tan skin. I'm not particularly wrinkly yet but my skin is starting to noticeably dry up especially if I don't moisturize after living most of my life only seldomly moisturizing (again, I'm someone who doesn't like to do much of anything to my body unnecessarily from taking medicine to applying chemicals, etc.). But I do believe in using/consuming natural and organic products as much as possible so obviously that's where the idea of using tallow came in. When I opened the jar I expected a scent but didn't pick up on one initially. Upon applying it to my hands, I could smell a very faint but pleasantly sweet honey scent. The cream absorbed quite quickly and though it did sit on the surface of my skin for a little while, the residue wasn't oily or sticky at all. It just made my skin soft, supple and visibly moisturized. It remained that way for several hours, even after I'd lightly washed my hands with plain water. I ended up taking a shower and applying the cream over my entire body including my face (I was really nervous about that as my face is ultra sensitive). Though I did end up getting one small itchy red bump on my chin that went away after about half an hour, there was no other irritation that I'd noticed and did not get any bumps or other noticeable irritation from subsequent applications moving forward. My face was *ridiculously* smooth as was the rest of my body where the cream had been applied. The next morning my skin remained just as soft and smooth as the night before, though I could tell that the cream had obviously absorbed a bit. Unlike most of my other lotions, this cream actually settles into my skin (which is what I want) rather than just sitting as a layer on top (nourishment versus protection, if that makes sense). I have yet to see if this cream actually does anything positive in the long run or is just something that has to constantly be used, but for a MIC cream I have a feeling I'm going to be buying this again! 😅

I’ll start by saying I have dry skin. It’s flaky and when I sunless tan (often) my skin appears cracked. I’ve been reading up on how to avoid that. I read tallow balm in addition to a body wash with salicylic acid. I also do not love lotion so if it feels heavy or greasy it’s a no for me.This product feels thick to touch but surprisingly it absorbs into my skin. Feels like my skin just sucks it up and it’s not just sitting on top if that makes sense. It feels very hydrating. The jar is small and more expensive than a bottle of lotion in store, but, if this works and heals my cracked skin it will be worth every penny. I’ll update as time goes on.

This stuff was suggested by a friend of mine when I asked for a natural moisturizer for my growing baby belly. I was looking for something with no nasty chemicals and this stuff fits the bill! I’ve been using it after showering everyday and my belly is so soft! The scent is also very light and not overpowering or weird smelling. A little also goes a long way so the value is definitely there, when also paired with the quality of the tallow. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something natural with a light scent, and gives you super soft skin!

This is one of the of the best tallow balms I have used. It doesn't smell bad, to me doesn't smell at all. Price is amazing too. Mostly use it for face but also ruff skin like elbow and knees but mainly on my face. I see that my skin has improved and I get compliments that my skin became smooth and even tone. It light textured, easy to apply, non greasy. Use it at night and morning. It is the only product I use on my face. Very glad I found this one.

I bought this because I have dry aging skin with a couple nasty dry patches. I used it on a Friday morning, wore it the whole day, fell asleep without washing my face again, and on Saturday IT WAS STILL DEWY. This stuff is the real deal, soaks in beautifully and is not greasy. Just leaves you with dewy soft bouncy skin. Definitely worth it if you suffer from dryness like me. I didn't notice any real scent. Seems perfect for sensitive skin, it has natural ingredients and is VERY soothing.

This has quickly replaced 3 products I had been using with much better results! My skin is soft, hydrated AND younger looking.. I'm 34 and starting to get fine lines. Also, I have very sensitive skin that breaks out easily. I was concerned the tallow cream would cause a break out but it didn't! In fact my skin cleared up! 100000000% recommend trying this product. Will be buying again!

This product is amazing. No more dry flaky skin. My face feels so soft and stays hydrated all day. A little goes a long way. This is my second purchase 🤗🤗. My husband and son loves it too so now I’ll have to hide this one 🤫🤪.

Totally love this moisturizer! I haven’t had one this good in years. It soaks into my skin and makes it so soft. It gets rid of any dryness. It is thick, but goes on smooth and light. Smells like honey, great natural scent! I would say very high quality at a low price. I will definitely buy again!
