Outstanding!
Purchased this solution to parkerize my '81-vintage Iver Johnson M1 carbine. I went back and forth on whether to get the zinc or manganese phosphate. Glad I chose the manganese. The near-black gray finish is gorgeous -- very even, no blotchiness, et cetera. Just followed the directions, and it worked as advertised.Used it over the course of several days, topping off with distilled water as necessary without issue. Excellent product at a decent px!

Very tough Parkerizing coating
I purchased this Parkerizing solution to protect my machine shop tools. After careful de-greasing, I placed the parts in a warmed tank with this solution mixed 4 to 1 with demineralized water. The coating looks great and is far more durable than the quick bluing that I have tried in the past. So far, there is no corrosion on any of the treated parts.Be aware, anything that isn't perfectly prepared, will not coat well. I have a thumb-print in one of my pieces that I just can't get rid of. It hasn't corroded but it is a reminder to do a better job on the surface preparation.

Perfect
It finished my 1911 perfectly…very dark nearly black.

It works. It’s the dark gray type.
It took a few tries to get it seasoned, even after adding the steel wool. Once it was dialed in it was great. I’ll buy more soon.

Great product does a fantastic job.
I did my M1A with this product, and a few other pieces for my other guns. Worked fantastic. Although it says just add water to bring it back up to total volume, not quite so, and it can only be used once, not over and over again. But still a great deal for the price, beats getting one done at a gunsmith. Most preferred over bluing.
