Birds Love These Seeds, Packaging Issue
The small birds in our yard love these seeds, but the bag arrived with two cuts in it. My assumption is that these cuts are from a blade used to open a larger box of these bags (in an Amazon warehouse.) I opened the large box containing this bag + another large item by hand. Caution: When you pull this bag from the box (or bag) it comes shipped in, watch out for seeds emerging from the bag.

The seed mix is fine, but the packaging needs better quality control
This is the third bag of this bird seed we've bought for our budgies. They love the seed and eat it all, no picking through and only taking one kind and leaving half a dish full of uneaten seed. The problem is the packaging. Two of the three bags we've gotten didn't have the zipper-seal attached on both sides of the bag. It's only attached to one side, so it's useless. It doesn't so anything to keep the seed fresh or to keep it from spilling. We had to get a couple large containers to pour all the seed into so it can stay sealed and fresh until we're ready for it. And it takes good-sized containers to hold 10 pounds of bird seed.
