Very easy to use with minimal setup. The package comes with three batteries so no need to buy extra ones. I use it for daily meal preparation, and bakery. The measurement seems to be accurate and the scale itself is light weight. Overall a good tool for the kitchen

I meant to order a different brand of this food scale however, I decided let’s just try it. I don’t like the way it works with the app - it doesn’t show me food I have logged for the day and when I search food items there are a lot of inaccurate results or foods are not listed at all.

If you download and utilize the app that is related with this scale, you can access a multitude of features associated with your food if that is something you want to incorporate into your day. I did download the app and started to join, however it started asking for a bunch of personal information that I was uncomfortable giving. I just wanted a scale for weighing my food!The base has four nonslip pads on the bottom that help keep it from moving around when placed on the counter. It will measure in fluid oz, lbs:oz, grams, milk ml and ml, all with an easy one touch button to switch between them. The display is easy to read and a battery indicator symbol is clearly visible at the top of the display window. It does requires 3AAA batteries because this is NOT a rechargeable scale. Honestly for the price, I believe it should have a rechargeable feature. In general as far as a food scale goes, this one does a fine job.One big flaw for me is the design and keeping it clean and sanitary. The scale itself is stainless steel but where it meets the plastic display there is a transition line that separates the two pieces. If not careful, food or liquid could easily seep in or get caught in that space. My thought is this should be a continuous piece with no opportunity for germs or dirt to live.

I havnt tried the calorie function, can’t imagine it’s super accurate, but for weighing and tarring it’s perfect, with a high weight limit.
