Best Investment for a Smart TV
Purchased the TV in April 2026 and have been using it for the past three months. I love this TV, truly. My old one was an old 40" plasma TV so it was very outdated and upgrading to a QLED was a very expensive purchase for me, but it was ultimately worth it.ProsThe screen quality and size is perfect. Watching movies and YouTube feels entertaining. Being able to play games from my Steam Deck and PS5 is also amazing; the TV has a Game Mode to give it a boost in performance. TV is also very light weight so rearranging the living room is never a hassle. If you're like me and have a Samsung phone, SmartThings enables you to turn your phone into a TV remote and that is so convenient whenever I sometimes misplace my remote. All in all, this was a great investment.ConsLike most Smart TVs, there are a few things to consider when getting one and one of the things I found to be a bit of a downer is the OS. This TV uses Tizen OS and isn't the most responsive compared to a TV stick (Apple TV, Roku, Firestick, etc). At times, it's a bit laggy and takes a while to respond to setting inputs, however I do not find this a huge negative quality; the TV still functions perfectly and just requires a bit of patience as the OS is built-in. If speed is your concern, invest in a TV stick. In conclusion, this is a great TV. I have no major qualms about it and would gladly get another one to replace my old one in my bedroom when financially ready. Don't forget to use your smartphone to set it up. I can see why that's a downside for many reviewers, but it's just a one part setup and you don't ever have to do it again.

Awesome picture
OK, I’m trying to figure out why people return this TV apparently my eyes are not as good as other people ha ha ha there’s nothing wrong with this TV. It has a good picture. The sound is good it functions and it’s a good price and it looks beautiful built-in on my Cedar wall so you people that return it I don’t understand. I am thinking of buying the larger size for another place in our home!

Absolutely amazing quality for price point!
My previous LG tv was 10 years old and was starting to lose color in spots and the sound was starting to hiss and pop so I knew it was time for a replacement. With this TV I finally have a television that meets today's technology. I tested all different inputs, mainly my Roku unit, which I rely on heavily, and watched several films, both as recent as Project Hail Mary to an older film, The Wings of the Dove. Both were stunning in 4K. I saw details I've never seen before. I streamed a movie on Howdy, Roku's budget movie channel, that streams in SD and it upscaled it (is that the word?) to high definition that was a huge upgrade in quality. I watched a little bit of a blu-ray disc and it was excellent though my player is probably going on 15 or 20 years old. Might be time for an upgrade there at some point, but it was still excellent. I watched the Cubs game and I've never seen a game so clearly, it was like being there. The feature I love the most is the picture mode. The standard or dynamic mode creates unrealistic soap-opera like quality to films, especially classic black and white films. There's a setting called Movie and Filmmaker Movie. I switched to those and the films looked far more natural yet beautiful picture quality. I used the Dynamic mode for the Cubs game and that stunned without looking unnatural. So you have to toggle the picture quallity a bit with each type of program you're watching. The sound is okay, There's no optical connection so I can't use my sound bar. At some point I'll upgrade that as well and there's an HDMI port for that. The smart TV interface is a bit annoying, but I might just not be used to it yet. Set up was a breeze though it really needs to be done with a smart phone app for the easiest connection. It connected to my Alexa with just a button press. One cool thing is the remote control is very small and light but it is charged with a solar connection using natural light or lamp light. I had bought AAA batteries in anticipating of a more traditional remote but was pleasantly surprised by the solar powered slim one. It can also be charged very quickly with a USB-C cable (not included) for fast charging if you can't get enough light to keep it charged. I got this as an open box deal from Walt's TV and it took a while to get here but I'd have had no idea it was open box at all. Everything was perfect and I saved $100 off the Amazon price! Obviously this isn't the biggest or highest quality TV you can get but if you're upgrading from an. old TV like I am, I think you'll be extremely happy with this one!

VERY NICE TV...
VERY nice tv. Easy to set up, GREAT picture and easy controls on remote. Wife and I completed the unpacking, set up and use in a total of 28 minutes. Works fine with 4K Fire Stick, was basically plug and play and didn't miss a beat. My only critique is that the Bluetooth for sound is a little sketchy, doesn't always synch to video and disconnects too much. Also the TV does NOT have an optical outlet for older sound bar hookups like ours, but there are a bunch of eARC HDMI chord connections that do the job and are priced right here on Amazon so not a real biggie. TV speakers actually don't sound that bad either to tell the truth. Movies are awesome and XBOX/X is crazy good on it. This was a great buy at a great price and we HIGHLY recommend this product.

Great TV for the Price, Comes with a few drawbacks
This TV is of good quality and produces a very nice picture. It responds well and has many neat features that improve image quality. Setup is fairly easy. This model's brightness doesn't suffer in the sun or with an open window, and it can adaptively adjust brightness. It also looks great in the dark. This TV comes with a few drawbacks for the price. Samsung TVs have a clunky OS, and I opted for using a Google TV streamer behind it. Audio quality is decent, but better with an external sound system. This model lacks many inputs. There is no audio jack; it only includes HDMI-ARC, and it has only 3 HDMI inputs.Image features and AI are useful, but note that if you want to use this TV with a computer to turn on game mode. The motion features are great, but not for inputs like a PC.Overall, this TV is a good value, and its drawbacks do not affect ownership, as they can be easily overcome with aftermarket adapters at a lower price than for similar TVs.

The TV is good, and Amazon is trustworthy
The Samsung 50-Inch Class QLED Q7F Series TV turned out to be excellent; it is sufficiently bright and delivers deep blacks during evening viewing with a nearby desk lamp and the overhead lights turned off. I had doubts about whether a 50-inch TV would be big enough, given the availability of larger models; I had actually intended to return it and buy a 55-inch one instead. However, it turned out to be a perfect fit for a fairly large room when viewed from a distance of 5.5 feet. What’s more, Amazon suggested I keep it and generously offered a $75 credit—a move that saved them the hassle of logistics, markdowns, and resale. I agreed, and I have no regrets.Amazon’s customer service really is excellent; they are great at solving problems and finding mutually beneficial solutions.

Awesome Smart TV
I consider buying this Samsung 43Q7F tv an awesome choice!! I wanted the 50" but had to settle for the 43" because of limited space in my small apartment. However other than size difference, I'm satisfied with my choice. #AwesomePictureQuality, #Affordable, #ExtremelyHighTech, #Eazy2SetUp and many more positive qualities...Before I paid for it on Amazon, I read some of the reviews and came across same negativity but I was skeptical and my curiosity got the better of me, I bought it...My very first smart tv was a SAMSUNG 32-inch Class LED Smart FHD TV 1080P (UN32N5300AFXZA, 2018 Model) which I bought on Amazon Prime in 2020. For years I've tag myself as a Samsung-Man when it comes to phones so it was easy to select the Samsung brand for my first smart tv. On unboxing that first Samsung tv, I felt elated and as time passes, I get more familiar with the device and was never disappointed with it. However, excessively high power serge from my electricity provider damaged it. As a result, here I am, with my second smart tv and another Samsung brand.I received my device well wrapped and protected and in perfect condition, no damage... So for, as I'm preparing this refiew, it's not 24 hours as yet since I completed the unboxing and setting up. My excitement is far above what it was for the first tv at the time of unboxing. Maybe is because of the size difference and the awareness of the superior Specs differences... Yet with what I've experienced so far, I'm so happy that I couldn't wait to tell others that if they're in doubt about buying this tv, that they need not be. Check my #HashTags at the beginning of my review. I find that the cost is affordable. Initially, when I started the setting up, I became a little apprehensive about then discovered that it was very easy and quick. It allowed me to us my Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Smartthings app to do the setting up. I'm happy with how images on screen are so clean and clear and it is so modern compared to my previous Samsung tv and I'm still learning about it. I've just started using it but I'm happy with my choice and I have given it 5 Stars....

Good But...
I am reviewing the 65 inch model. Once I got it set up properly (took more than a week) picture quality is quite good. Not good enough for people obsessed with black levels, but plenty bright and color can be made to be pretty accurate. Sound is amazingly bad. You will definitely need a sound bar or fancy home theatre setup. In theory you can use the Q-Symphony feature to use the built in speakers to augment your sound bar. Don't. The sound coming out of the built in speakers shouldn't be used for anything ever. The remote supplied is even worse. I don't know who it was that decided that less is more when it comes to remotes, but they definitely got it wrong. Using the Smart Things app is significantly better, but there is important stuff the app can't do, and pulling out my phone or iPad to make simple adjustments is stupid to put it bluntly. The Homepage GUI isn't any better. Hidden settings are a nightmare. I found some important stuff that should have been turned on by default (eArc and UHD on inputs especially) are in fact turned off by default. I found the settings to turn them on once, but I have not been able to find them again. Obvious they are not. In short, the TV is something of a nightmare to set up. One thing that definitely helped was a video on TouTube that showed the presenter holding up a different Samsung remote with all of the useful buttons which he said was available for $10. It looked very familliar as it appeared to be the remote Samsung supplied with older TVs, because that's what it was. I happened to have 3 of these on hand, and they ended up solving the remote issue.I realize this is sounding like a very negative review for something I am rating at 4 stars, but once I got through the week long frustration of setting it up the way it needed to be set up, it really is quite nice for my needs. I don't use cable or over the air functions. I have a fancy Samsung Q990D soundbar, and I use my only inputs are my Apple TV streaming box, and a Sony BluRay player. Those are connected to the sound bar with only the picture being passed through to the TV. I use the Apple TVstreaming box to control the inputs and volume. I will never need to use the supplied remote again as my old Samsung remotes from older TVs are fine. But really once you get it set up to your liking the Samsung remote can be completely ignored forever. Pretty much every recent TV has awful sound, so some other sound source is pretty much necessary no matter what TV you buy. The price is good and the picture is fine. One other thing they hide is the privacy option set. They are there, but hidden with the implication in the title that it is just a privacy policy to read. The options to turn stuff off is something you have to scroll for. Pretty sleazy, but that's ture of everybody in the TV business. So at this point I am genuinely enjoying the product after a week of frustration.
