Fantastic pad that feels very nice to the touch. Not too fast even with it being named the speed pad. Glad that Steel Series could get a win these days.

I have tried many mouse pads and I can say that this one is the one of my favorites I like the feel and the speed of the mouse pad there are other mouse pads better than this one but also more money for the money I believe you are getting a quality product

SteelsSeries knocked it out of the park with this pad. I got the "Speed" version, so my review mostly focuses there. First off, the pad is large enough to give you tons of space - it was bigger than I expected, but that's a good thing. It fits all of my gear - controller, stream deck, keyboard, mouse, and could add many others to boot. The surface is SO smooth, it feels transparent - it's thin, feels smooth with my mouse, and works flawlessly.

Its very good with a perfect balance of speed and control when I'm using it.

The base on this is terrible. It genuinely feels and sticks like EVA foam; however, it is more than compensated for by the surface. It is definitely the best $40 speed pad on the market if you can look past the base; and you can return it. It is difficult to control, but overall is a good gateway into speed pads.

Premium mousepads should be shipped flat. I keep buying mousepads in hopes of finding something I'll like better than the Artisan Zero. No luck. The QCK isn't bad but it doesn't have the stopping power of the Zero.

Bought the XL desk mat and I couldn't be happier. The speed pad is fast and incredibly smooth, which were traits I did not want to lose when switching over from a glass pad. This mousepad is really comfortable and doesn't irritate my arms and I can effortlessly move my mouse which was a top priority for me. This has been great for gaming and productivity. I am very impressed of this offering from SteelSeries and can easily see myself buying another of this exact pad if this one ever gives out.
