New Caprisun bottles!
Thrilled that CapriSun are now available in a bottle size! Very convenient and prefer this over the pouches. These were super good and delicious, I ordered 9 and already finished them haha

Mostly sugar, and where’s the kiwi?
I like kiwi fruit...and strawberries...so I thought this Capri Sun Strawberry Kiwi Flavored Juice Drink Blend would be a real winner.I am disappointed, though, even considering that this drink is a ‘juice drink blend’ and not simply juice. The label clearly shows that the drink doesn’t even have any kiwi juice in the ingredients (unless you count ‘natural flavors’?).The primary juice ingredient (and flavor) comes first from pear juice and then from strawberry juice concentrate. And … a bit of apple juice concentrate is further down the list. So, if the product was marketed as pear/strawberry or pear/strawberry/apple I might have been less disappointed but strawberry/kiwi … no.Going beyond the issue of the juices used and looking at just at taste … I thought it was okay. Especially if I’m looking for a change-of-pace from a heavy soda type of drink. What I mostly taste is sugar or at least mostly sweetness with a pear-like flavor coming slightly into the mixture. As for strawberry I can ‘kind-of’ find a trace of the flavor if I actively go searching for it.The sweetness not only comes from sugar (and, for me, there is a lot of sugar in the product) but the drink also has monk-fruit concentrate. Fortunately the monk-fruit didn’t give it any off-flavor, though. As mentioned, this is an okay choice for when I want something sweet and don’t want the all too heavy flavor of a soda.If I am looking for a fruit juice drink though I think I’d rather just get a bottle of apple juice. Half the price and all natural.

Quality in a bottle
It's a pretty solid drink. In a plastic bottle versus a pouch which thankfully doesn't affect the quality. Really can't go wrong

Monk fruit helps lower the sugar content which is a good start.
The taste is fine, it's a mild fruit punch taste and mild sweetness. This is fine for an occasional drink, but should not be a daily go to for the kids. No artificial colors and this contains monk fruit sweetener (non-caloric) to boost the lower sugar content sweetness which is good, since it lowers the overly sugarized drinks elsewhere on the market, Would have preferred glucose and monk fruit instead, as sugar is 50% glucose and 50% fructose and anymore than ~15 grams of fructose a day can contribute to NALFD (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease) as your body uses a process named de novo lipogensis to create fat from the fructose, hence, creating liver fat. Glucose can be stored as liver glycogen or muscle glycogen or converted to fat, via lipogenesis, in excess; this process is initiated by insulin due to increased blood sugar. Kids are active, so glucose has a better chance of being used as a source of energy than stored as fat, which fructose will be turned to fat regardless of energy expenditure at the moment of consumption. Rice and other starches are fine, they are just linked glucose molecules, no fructose to promote NALFD, unless you are diabetic / pre-diabetic, then high blood sugar levels are something you always need to be aware of (carbohydrate content) when consuming anything. This uses a mushroom extract to protect the flavor which seems to be common practice now when searching for that online.

Capri sun for grownups
Don't steal any more Capri Sun pouches from your kids. Just grab one of these. It is exactly like a bunch of capri-sun pouches in a simple, no-stabbing-required plastic bottle. It's good, it's refreshing, it's Capri Sun in a bottle.

But....no pouch
It's a capri sun without the one thing that makes it a capri sun...the pouch that you have to stab without impaling your hand. So inherently it is disappointing. But it tastes like it should and holds more, so that's a plus.

Sweet & refreshing drink
This drink has a sweet and refreshing taste, but it's not as sugary as I anticipated. It seems they have lowered the sugar content by using monk fruit as a sweetener. Overall, it's still a delicious beverage, just now conveniently packaged in a bottle.
