It was a long hunt, but these are the ones. ❤️
THESE ARE THE BUDS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR. I am anal about ear buds, and have fairly niche preferences. These have great battery life, a nice selection of ear tips fpr comfort, good sound, great noise isolation, nice style, simple and reliable bluetooth connection, and easy hand controls without needing an app with a login and a bunch of steps. The only things that Inwould have changed for my own preferences would be that the volume down button is on top, and the up button is on bottom. (Unless i am wearing them wrong?) And I would prefer if the neck band were just slightly more formed to a ring, because when I work at weird angles, it can slide over. They're great though. I could clip the neckband to my shirt if it really bothered me. If you want value for the money, noise isolation, legitimate hearing protection, solid construction, and dont want to fuss with a bunch of features or apps or passwords, these are it. They just work, well.

Excellent choice
Fantastic set of noise blocking earbuds. The expandable foam inserts are comfortable, though my ears feel dirty after I take them out. They aren't, but the sensation of removing them after four or six hours is a little uncomfortable. Excellent sound quality, even with audio books in a noisy environment. Battery seems to last forever.

Very high quality headphones for the price
Very good sound quality. The bass on these are amazing and genuinely surprised me. Battery life is great and last at least 10 hours on my shifts maybe more. These have been snagged and pulled and didn’t break. I leave off one star due to the fact that the foam inserts really do hurt my ears personally the rubber ones work just fine and still suppress the sounds of my loud work environment. Very light headphones and they do tend to sometimes slide from side to side if you don’t have both in. Very good value for what you get not disappointed.

Finally, good hearing protection and music!
I've been waiting for a product like this for a very long time. Being in a rock band in my highschool days and then lots of motorcycle riding has left me with some mild tinnitus that I definitely don't want getting any worse. Because of that I'm always looking for hearing protection that I can wear while working with powertools etc. These fit the bill perfectly. I had to get the larger plugs from the elgin website, but once I swapped the tips out for those, they work awesome! In fact they work a little too well. I can't hear anything while wearing them, which makes it difficult to coordinate jobs. I wish they had a passthrough mode for sound where a microphone would pick up external sounds and repeat it through the earbuds. That would make them much more useful. Otherwise though can't complain. One caution, do not get the foam tips wet. I had a little grease on mine and wanted to clean them off and as soon as I got the foam tip wet it balloon up and would not recompress. The tips are only 3 bucks on the elgin website, but still. It's worth considering.

Right earbud died after 3 months of use
Only lasted little over 3 months of use before the right earbud stopped working entirely. I've been buying corded elgin earbuds for work for years now, and each one of those would last at least a year or two before they would start failing due to cable-bend stressing the wiring inside. That was understandable however because my job at the time was rougher and it was always near the plug-in which is where most earbuds fail anyways so that's natural. In this case however not only is the job/work lighter and less rough but the cable isn't being stressed at all, so given all that context it's disappointing that a more expensive product by the same company under more ideal use conditions would fail from what I can only assume is flimsy cabling. Otherwise the audio quality was fine, they fit in my ears well enough (though the non-foam ear pieces would slowly work their way out of my ear unlike the corded ones, I wish they had something just like those for this), the cable and neck piece never got in my way and sat comfortably, and the battery only ever got down to like 60-70% even after a full 10~ish hours of use.

Beats expectations -- Especially at this price point.
These are the same price as WorkTunes earmuffs, but the Elgin Discord noise reduction rating is 31dB compared to 26dB for the WorkTunes. That may not sound like much of a difference, but it really is. I can keep an audiobook at a comfortable level without constantly adjusting the volume depending on which saw I'm using in the shop. Plus, earbuds vs. earmuffs? It's a no brainer. I can wear these comfortably for hours. Can't say the same for any pair of noise reduction earmuffs. I'm a woman and I was worried these wouldn't be comfortable, but the foam is squishy and fits just fine. There's even a card included with instructions for people who have never used foam earplugs before. These come in a really nice box and they have a zippered carrying case for storage. They are cheap for Bluetooth hearing protection, but nothing about them looks or feels cheaply made. If I ever splurge on wireless earbuds, I would absolutely buy them from this brand.

Recommended but read before buying
Great other than the fact the design doesn't allow you to press them into your ears good enough to block out exterior sounds. If you work in construction like i do and need to protect your hearing, this design isn't good. Go with the other design when the ear buds do not curv. Go with the design that come straight out of your ears. That will go on deep enough to give you the hearing protection you need. This is the 4th pair i have bought from this brand. The first pair with the curve design. The bluetooth function and battery life on all are excellent. Not super loud but loud enough you can listen to videos or calls while you work in construction. The mic on all of the different models i have purchased needs work. The mic sucks on all of them and people do have trouble hearing you talk. Most times i have to hold the mic just a couple inches from my mouth which is super annoying as i want to be able to use my hands while i work or drive my vehicle. I really wish they would improve the mic pickup on all of their models. That's my only real complaint. Many days in gone about 16 hours a day from home and the battery last on all of the models i bought the entire time and i listen to YouTube videos play the entire time as soon as i leave my home. I do recommend glue'ing the yellow ear piece onto the ear bud itself but you have to do it in a way that the glue doesn't cover the speaker or you will have a heck of a time trying to clean and scrape it out so you can hear the sound come through. If you don't, the yellow part will fall off and you'll lose them within a couple of weeks. They usually last me over a year or two which for me, if i get a full year use out of a set I'm pretty happy with that. I do recommend them but you'll need to speak loud for your callers to hear you.

Love these
I bought these because my AirPods kept falling out of my ears and I would lose them or have to look for them. These are much cheaper and if they fall out of my ears, they are connected so they are easy to relocate. These have replaced my AirPods completely. They are more comfortable than my AirPods as well.

Bueno pero puede mejorar.
Me gustó por sus materiales y aislamiento pasivo de ruido, sin embargo la calidad de audio podría ser mucho mejor.
