Can't find a single complaint in my experience
I'm so impressed by this tv, I felt compelled to leave a review. I shopped for quite a while and read a lot of reviews before this purchase and I couldn't be more happy. I'll lead by saying I have very limited experience with OLED panels, aside from seeing them on display in store. What I do have experience with is high end lcd panels. I have to say that mini led is a huge leap for her content. It's not quite OLED but compared to the older TV it's replacing that had local dimming zones, the contrast is night and day. Hdr content pops so hard " I can't believe it's not OLED" one major advantage it has is peak brightness, this tv can get so bright you can hang it in your sunroom and still enjoy hdr. The gaming experience is just as good as other media, my games have never looked this good and when setup properly, input lag and latency is comparable to my 1080p 240hz gaming lg gaming monitor. The UI is decently snappy and I am quite partial the the Google software. Makes pairing Bluetooth devices and adding apps a breeze. The entire UI of the TV is very well thought out and streamlined, just pay attention to the pop ups while first navigating the setup. I also can't go without mentioning the sound, my setup is not ideal, I have the TV at the foot of my bed near the middle of the room and the sound is still good enough I haven't felt the need to turn my Klipsch speakers on unless I'm watching a movie and want all the theater experience. There are actually two small subwoofers on the back of the panel that manage to make ample bass even out in the middle of the room, I can only imagine that if this TV was close to a wall I wouldnt need an external speaker setup at all. There are settings to add an external subwoofer to the internal speakers and hope to try that out in the future. So if you're on the fence about a purchase and this TV is checking the boxes for you, don't hesitate, I have zero complaints.

Wow!
Bought this two months ago during Prime Days sale. After what seemed like extensive research I had narrowed my choices to TCL, LG or Hisense. The TCL QM7K was the highest rated by Rtings.com at the price point I wanted. Other factors favoring TCL were the HVA screen claiming a wider viewing angle, this was replacing a Hisense U8 series which failed after only 30 months which left me with diminished confidence in Hisense and, although I am partial to LG, they apparently had availability problems with the model I selected. My primary TV is a LG C3 OLED. I prefer the TCL Google system, the TCL screen and audio tuning and the TCL remote. The OLED is superior for viewing angle and, although the LG picture is not as bright, I prefer the LG picture quality overall. However, if I needed to replace the LG OLED, I would be happy with The TCL QM7K.Out of the box the picture is amazing. For the most part I select Standard for the picture set up and leave it there. On Standard the picture is bright, the contrast right on, the colors vibrant and accurate. The TV will auto adjust brightness and you can override the auto bright if you want but rarely do I need to. The presets for picture and audio were amazingly accurate. I loved the picture from the beginning and actually was concerned because I did not feel the need to tune the picture and sound. I finally did use the Rtings settings for the Movie picture and thought all they did was bring the Movie picture closer to the preset Standard picture. The HVA panel viewing angle is slightly better than a normal VA panel but not much. If you need a wide viewing angle, spend the extra dollars for an OLED.The audio is quite good. Not sound bar good but far better than most. I switch back and forth between the Music setting for movies and the Talk setting for just about everything else.Buy this at the right price and you will be amazed!

Great tv for the price.
So far I am very pleased with the purchase. Picture quality is very good and the sound quality is the best I have ever had from a tv without a sound bar. Picture is bright and works well in my living room with a lot of windows. I feel it was a great purchase for the money!

Defective product
Defective screen. Poor quality. Within few days of use, the pixels showing deformity. Here’s how you test it. Put on a black image on TV, if you still see colors that means the TV has manufacturing defect.
