Victorinox Jetsetter Swiss Army Knife, 7-Function Pocket Knife, Red

I love my little Swiss Army knife, but I can’t travel with it on my person in an airplane cabin. This is a great alternative. I’ve gone through 5 domestic and international airports with it so far, no issues, no one even looked at it. I would highly recommend it. I would suggest adding a few more air travel friendly tools, maybe a flat blade screwdriver and a file, while still keeping it pretty compact?

Jetsetter has worked well for back-up EDC carry on neckless when flying, normal I go with Spydernox rambler for EDC, but airline doesn't allow us proper cutting devices/ tools, this has worked enough for me, TSA has only questioned it once, and after he opened it up, he said he final had seen one and handed it back. Price isn't bad, scissors opens enough to serve as blade to open packages and might be enough to cut seatbelt, probable not enough for clothing for patient care but it is what it is, bottle opener/phillips comes in handy with tweezers and key ring. Best alternative to a standard Swiss Army Knife for carrying through airport security. Well made, has scissors, does what I need.

These are not a problem with TSA. I like being able to use the scissors when traveling. I would have given a higher rating except: cost is too high, I would rather have a nail file/ flat head screwdriver instead of the Phillips screw driver.

So far, TSA safe. I had the version w a small blade for over 20 years, but I accidentally took it on a flight and it was confiscated. This version has no blade and I've flown with it ok.

Great idea for Christmas gifts. Every woman should have this is her purse to open packages. It has no blade, so it is safe for air travel too.

Small enough to sit on your keychain without adding any weight or bulk and ready to be useful when you need it. I brought one for my daughter as well and a added custon scales which is easy to do. She finds lots of uses for it and is comfortable knowing she is not carrying a knife. Toothpick and tweezers come in handy but the star of the show for every victorinox saks are the scissors and even in this small form they are very useful for lots of everyday tasks. Plus you have the multitool as well. Affordable, always well made and you'll be surprised how often you use it when you start carrying it. I love victorinox and this is the best one if you're looking to go blade free or want one for you child to have.
