Too big for fine work, too weak for applying force
I use all different pliers in my hobby of electronics and restoring vintage electronics like wooden phones. I have plenty of Tekton stuff that I am delighted with (the security screwdriver bits are great fwiw). These pliers though, I couldn't find a niche for. If I want to manipulate something small, they can't fit. If I want to tear or crush something, they BEND, which is crazy. Like if you squeeze down on a bold shaft, most pliers would stop when you have them as tight as your hand can go. But these start to bend. I need for pliers to be stronger than me, that's often what they are for. So to summarize--if I want pliers to manipulate small things, these are too big, heavy, and wide. If I want pliers to magnify and focus my own strength, these are too weak.

Broke within seconds
The metal on one of the handles snapped apart literally 2 seconds into first use. No excessive force or any force really. Not good.

Very Good Needle Nose for the Price
After trying multiple brands, this is the best at this price point. The quality is what you should expect by not paying $40. But that said, its definitely good quality and more than good enough for occaisional use. If I was serious about the tool -- making jewelry for money for instance -- I'd definitely spring for the pricey versions. But I'll make it easy on you: Do Not Bother with any of the other cheap ones -- they are mostly terrible and none as good as these.

Critical Failure
I normally regard Tekton as a higher quality brand; so I’m quite shocked that the pliers critically failed for me on first use.

A beautiful tool
I had been to Home Depot to purchase a new pair of needle nose pliers, but their selection was very limited and they had nothing smaller than 6 inch pliers. I ordered these because they were smaller and the nose was more slender. I was extremely pleased when they arrived since they are actually quite beautiful and very well made. I plan to use them to remove the supports on 3D prints and they will be perfect for it.

Solid spring loaded pliers
These are perfect needle nose pliers that have a very narrow point that allows me to grab things in small places other needle nose plies cant.

A well made needle nose pliers for electronic work.
Reminds me of the mid eighties line of Haiko Tools. Well made with a nice crosshatch on the jaws.

Good enough for precision electronics:
I admit I'm a rank amateur, but I don't see why you'd need better unless you're doing critical industrial work or manipulating tiny objects in really tight spaces. It's precise enough to manipulate component leads in point to point work and make mechanical connections. Actually, the nose could be even more needle like. It's still a bit fat for wedging into a busy terminal with lots of branches sprouting off, or for trying to manipulate components on a PCB when high voltage capacitors, big tuning coils .etc block the way.
