NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate Black, 10 fl oz Bottle

I'm a convert. I've been using this for a couple months now to make iced coffee/latte/espressos and more recently espresso sodas. Great value, as you don't need to use a lot of the concentrate to get a full flavored beverage.

This isn't the best iced coffee ever, but it may be the best value ever for an iced-coffee product. Crazy affordable and the coffee itself is perfectly fine, as good as many more expensive grocery store concentrates. Plus, if you're a renter these tiny little bottles are great because they're not heavy to lug up the stairs of a walk-up and they don't dominate fridge space. A few words of caution: first, BELIEVE THE DIRECTIONS and only use a tablespoon or two at most. It took me so many tries to learn this. It feels like that can't possibly be enough but it is and anything more is disgustingly bitter! Second, do not try the plain black concentrate hot, it is absolutely horrid. It tastes just fine cold though and the vanilla is decent hot or cold. All in all, the value sold me on making a permanent switch to this over grocery store cold brew for my hot weather coffee needs, so if you're not a big coffee snob and just want a decent cup of iced coffee to kick-start your day, give it a try.

I bought this NESCAFE Espresso Coffee Concentrate because I have been to weddings and found that some banquet halls’ coffee is made with a machine that dispenses Coffee Concentrate mixed with hot water to fill their serving carafes. I really like the flavor and aroma of that coffee. My problem is that I cannot find the right coffee concentrate. I was hoping this was it. I have made several cups of coffee, and this is close, but it just can’t make hot coffee the way I want. In fairness, the package says it’s for iced coffee. I tried that, and it is perfect. It is very easy to use, not messy at all. The taste and appearance are right on the mark. If you’re looking to make a wonderful iced coffee beverage, consider this concentrate. It goes a long way, so the cost to concentrate is a pretty good value. Enjoy

Cannot beat the convenience of this concentrate. Nice and thick - treacle like. Very tasty. A bit of a smoky flavor that may not sit well with some. Otherwise, a great product, to be had directly or as a complement to your fresh brewed coffee.

This coffee concentrate is amazing. It is incredibly easy to use (I use one tbs of concentrate to 6oz of water) and it is not at all messy. Blending it together is really just stirring it with a spoon for a bit and doesn't take long at all. Then you pop it in the microwave or pour it over ice depending if you want it hot or cold. The bottles never leak or break as they are very durable. This coffee gives me just as much energy in a lot less time with minimal effort compared to traditionally brewed coffee. I don't know if I will ever go back as this tastes great and is so freaking easy. I will definitely be keeping a stock of this on hand always. I would recommend it to any coffee lover who wants great tasting coffee made dead simple.

The print on the bottle was small. I use glasses to read. When I opened the product in July of 2025, I looked on the front label, around the back to see if it needed to be refrigerated after opening. I couldn't find any statement of that where I normally find it on any other product. I used it a few times that month for coffee drinks. It gradually got shifted behind a few items. I recently found it and pulled it out to use it. I liked it. It's easier than brewing and waiting for coffee or espresso to cool. It tasted fine back when I opened it. Again, I checked the label for any information. Not having the patience to go find my glasses, I took pictures of the label. I then enlarged it to read. There the last line under information as to ingredients the last line in that small print said refrigerate after opening. Again, I looked under the name on the front label. I looked on the side, normal places you usually see this information. Nope! Same small print last line. As it had been sitting on my shelf behind items since July 2025, should have been refrigerated, I opted to toss it rather than take a chance. I don't always follow the use by dates. Commonsense if the can is dented,appears swollen, rusted, I toss. In my teens, I did colonial cooking. I have a general idea of ingredients that preserve food, not to mention all those chemical preservatives. I don't know about coffee only because, you ground, brewed and drank it. Rarely was coffee left. If it was you tossed it so the liquid didn't damage the "carpet bag", backpack or case you carried it in. Again, good stuff, it just really bothers me about the alleged safety statement, refrigerate after opening wasn't listed on the front of the label and could be clearly seen.
