Great for cats and in door plants!
Worked out wonderful for my DIY project. It was built very well disassembling to take out one of the windows was hard. The material was strong and durable a the screws were strong. It’s very light in weight and mobile and easy to paint it. It’s small enough to fit in your house for house plants.

It’s important to know which plant can handle sun shine to the root system.
This is a really cool raised planter that offers ease of use & fun, interesting, practical, scientific learning experiences. It’s worth noting, plants need darkness for the roots- especially the root foods you may want to watch grow. While some (radish, beets, sweet potato) can handle a bit of sun (never potatoes or carrots!) Unrequested Advice: I ordered black chalkboard removable contact paper to cover & label the plant seeds. The intent is to allow the plants to grow in darkness. It also allows little ones to peek to watch the marvelous underground world of root crops! The chalkboard feature of the covering serves as seed labels. Perhaps even to record the days as they’ve been checked.

Not worth it.
The pictures a very deceiving. This is an extremely small and flimsy Garden box. The actual worst part about this is the plexiglass side panels. What purpose is this? The soil gets extremely way to hot in constant direct sunlight, then at night it cools of way too much. This only puts way too much stress on your plants. I gave it a 2 only because I modified it to cover up the side panels. Still after doing this I can't see this box last more than 2 years.
