Comfortable open ear headphones that my son really enjoys
Bought the Shokz OpenFit 2 headphones and my son loves them. They are very comfortable to wear because they sit just outside the ear rather than inside it. This open ear design is quite interesting because it lets you listen to music while still being aware of what is happening around you, which is great for things like walking, gaming, or exercising. The fit is light and secure and he says they are comfortable even when worn for longer periods. Sound quality is clear and they connect easily using Bluetooth. Battery life also seems really good. They can last around a full day of listening on one charge and even longer when using the charging case, which makes them very convenient for everyday use. Overall a great set of headphones if you want something comfortable that does not block your ears completely. My son has been very happy with them and uses them a lot.

Best Earphones I’ve Used for Running with Caveat
Edited May 26: Still great earphones BUT one major flaw has presented itself in that they will connect to any / all devices when put back in their case. They’ll temporarily disconnect when put in after use but quickly reconnect again. Very annoying and will drain the battery prematurely unless you physically switch off all BT on your devices. Original review: I run regularly and have used several earphones in the past, including the Jabra Elite Active 4, Soundcore V20i, and Suunto Sonic. These are hands down the best of the bunch for running and workouts. Pros: Great Build: Silicone and metal combo feels durable yet lightweight. Easy Pairing: Connects quickly without hassle. Impressive Sound: Much better than other open-style earphones I’ve tried, and far superior to bone conduction models. While not quite in-ear quality, the sound is pleasantly balanced. Physical Buttons: A standout feature. Reliable and far more practical during workouts than fiddly touch controls. Cons: No Audio Cue on Pairing: It would be helpful to have a sound or tone when they pair. Right now, you don’t know they’re ready until music plays. Pricey: Slightly expensive, but I used a 10% discount and a birthday voucher which made it easier to justify. If you're serious about exercise and want dependable, great-sounding earphones, these are absolutely worth considering.

Well worth the money
Really pleased with the quality. Was originally concerned with how well they would stay put when running as I had never used this type of over-ear headphone before. However, after a bit of getting used to, I now couldn’t imagine using anything else. Have used them regularly for running for 6 months and around 1000km, including in some very wet and windy weather. They have never once fallen off, the sound quality is excellent, and I can still hear my surroundings without sacrificing music volume. The battery life is also great - I only have to charge the case around once a month, despite using the headphones over an hour daily. Can’t recommend enough - wish I had brought them earlier instead of struggling on for so long with my old cheap £20 headphones.

LIFE SAVERS!
If you struggle to fit earphones in your ears, frequently sweat or have wax build up, these are genuinely perfect for you. They sit perfectly on my ears, and provide so much comfort, i forget i’m even wearing them sometimes. I can finally listen to music in the gym or any other time without beginning to feel pain and discomfort. Sound is very good too and can be customised in the shock app. It’s not five stars however because due to being open ear headphones, there is no noise cancelling whatsoever which really forces you to crack the volume up in noisy places like gyms. I think the branding on the earphones are a bit over the top too. I highly recommend these. The open ear design also allows you to hear your surroundings very easily which was above shown as a negative but it is also very much a positive as I can now safely cycle whilst also having music playing.

Quality Earphones
These are great headphones. I usually use over-ear ones, which are ideal in colder months with a hat, but I needed something for warmer weather when I'm out walking or running – so my ears don't sweat. These are perfect for casual listening or more intense exercise, as they stay securely in place. The sound quality is excellent – I usually keep the volume at around 70%. Battery life is decent too. (Walk/run daily & charge once a week) They're waterproof, which is a bonus, though I haven't tested that feature yet. They are fairly easy to use. download the app and pair via bluetooth and away you go. Value-wise, they are on the expensive side, but you're paying for a high-quality product, and they're priced similarly to other premium headphones. They're very comfortable to wear – I previously had the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 and find these a much better experience in terms of both sound and comfort. Would recommend if you can justify the price.

Brilliant sound, comfortable, great battery life
These headphones are brilliant. They’re incredibly comfortable, being lightweight. There is no chance of them coming loose/falling off during exercise (unlike AirPods) due to the solid clip on/over-ear design. Also the battery life is brilliant (unlike AirPods!) with the headphones being able to last 10+ hours easily and the charging case allowing multiple recharges. First time I used these I thought they had failed to pair to my iPhone and the sound was coming out of the iPhone speaker - turns out they had paired perfectly I just wasn’t used to hearing ambient noises so clearly. Great sound, easy to pair/charge and they seem robust. Have used them on multiple long days of exercising and couldn’t leave without them now. Worth every penny (especially if you can pick them up on a Prime day)

Good but may not be suitable for all ears..
The sound quality was good. They were lightweight and I didn’t feel them at all. The only downside which prompted me to return them sadly was they did not feel at all secure particularly on my right ear. They fell off my right ear several times. They were easy to set up, and I’d got them at a good price in prime day. So it was disappointing they were not suitable for me.

Perfect headphones for running
So impressed with these headphones. I’m quite small and was convinced they were going to fall straight off as soon as I went faster than a slow jog. They didn’t! Stuck firmly in place and sounded great all the way round. I really like their ability to let you hear what’s going on around you - great for running on busy roads - and for having chats with your neighbours waiting at the lights without having to turn the tunes off! Controls are really good and easy to use too and they connected easily to my iPhone. Bought them on offer, so really good vfm too!

Used every day for a year - still Amazing!
I bought these headphones as a gift almost a year ago, and I honestly have to say it was probably one of the best gifts I’ve ever given someone. They’ve been used every single day for the past year, and the person I bought them for absolutely loves them. The battery life is excellent, they’re waterproof, and in the beginning he even wore them in the shower because he couldn’t get enough of the sound 😄 The sound quality is surprisingly clear and enjoyable. I actually appreciate that they don’t completely block out the outside world. They feel much safer for cycling, walking, or simply being out in public because you can still hear what’s happening around you while enjoying your music. Another huge advantage is comfort. Since they don’t seal your ear canal like silicone earbuds, your ears stay ventilated and comfortable even during long listening sessions. No ear pain or that “plugged up” feeling. The only thing worth mentioning is the fit. They seem to fit larger ears better. I tried them on myself, and they felt a little loose because I have smaller ears. But since they were a gift for a man, the fit turned out to be perfect for him. After a full year of daily use, they’re still going strong, and I would absolutely recommend them.

Perfect for bedtime podcasts and then sleep
These are superb for listening to podcasts in bed and then sleeping. No cables, perfect connectivity and you can use one or both. They hold their charge for days. Tricky to get in and out of the box but that’s nothing. Ive bought 2 x lots just in case I forget to charge one set. I absolutely recommend them for bedtime listening. I paid for both sets myself and am not sponsored.

Bass. Yes, ACTUAL bass.
I've been down the 'Open Ear Design' rabbit hole for a while now, and there's two things you notice right away - since your ear canals are (hopefully) wide open... The sound is like a Bluetooth speaker invisibly floating in space that only you can hear. Pretty cool. Oftentimes, though, that magic Bluetooth speaker seems kinda gutless. Not so cool. Because of this limitation, I have tried to spend my way into something with genuine punch... And this one smokes them ALL. Regardless of price. I finally have the kind of bass response I can live with in a form factor I can reasonably forget about all day. They're on right now because taking them off makes no sense. The damn battery lasts 11 HOURS. PER BUD. No obstruction at all - I can use a Qtip with them on. It's fantastic. And the lows are REAL - usually open ear designs deliver low frequency sound the way sparkling water delivers the taste of fruit - barely enough to notice. Not these. Real fruit juice this time. Could they use a few extra features? Kinda yeah, especially for this price point. I also have a pair of Cleer's Arc 3 Sport open buds (every feature you can imagine but roughly 100 bucks more) - and I would really like to see the Shokz support LDAC, Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos, and at minimum a more detailed EQ setup (5-band feels outdated, like a Sony Walkman from the 90's) - but the Shoks still sent those Arc 3's to the junk drawer by getting the basics absolutely PERFECT - fit, controls, sound quality are all in a class by themselves. If they ever roll out a Snapdragon Sound version of these with all the audio features and a case with a display, It's game over for the competition in the entire category. Multipoint works fine. It's a feature you didn't know you needed until you have it. I come home with these on (paired to phone), leave them on, then turn on the living room TV (also paired) and watch something too grownup for my little kids because I'm the only one hearing it. Dad Mode. Fit is impressive - they are comfortable, low profile, extraordinary secure (I can't imagine an activity outside of Jiu-jitsu or boxing that would dislodge them) and play nicely with both glasses and hats. Sound quality is excellent, and boy am I a snob about that. Actually, I would dive right into the custom EQ and draw a bass-biased Harman curve and tinker with it a little - then it really gets a chance to deliver. This little device uses a dual driver (essentially a speaker and subwoofer in miniature) setup so there's a lot more headroom before distortion creeps in - the arch enemy of open ear designs. In summary, yes these are $180 earbuds... and they are worth every dime, in fact punching above their weight at that cost. I recommend you believe the hype and spend the money. You won't regret it.
