GEMQUEEN Piercing Ball Grabber Tool, 14-20G Taper for Changing Jewelry

I can finally put in my flat back earrings without help. This tool set works miracles! Love the storage case so the small parts aren't lost. 2 sizes of posts with threaded end works great for flat back. Grabber helps me hold the tiny earring to screw into back. I couldn't do this on my own and, trust me, I tried so many times. The flat backs are hard to insert from the rear of the piercing and even once they are in (by some miracle), it's impossible for me to hold the miniature earring with miniature post and then to screw it into the flat back. I have horrible far sighted eyes and arthritis so this tool is a must.

This is hands down one of the best things I've ever purchased from amazon! I am 54 years old and wear glasses. I've always needed my kid to help me change out my piercings. Not anymore! She is going to college and I knew I'd have to figure this out and this kit works! I just tried it out for the first time tonight and I am pleasantly surprised. I didn't sweat I didn't curse and it was the quickest I ever changed out a piercing without any pain or any Cuts or any hassle to my ear. Hands down again best purchase ever. Works really well. I have tiny nostril studs. Tools are super helpful to guide stud in and hold jewelery in place. I couldn't change out my jewelery by myself without these Tools. Must have

This was a life saver for putting a stud into an at home piercing and trying to screw 3mm gem into an internally threaded flat back stud. Product works well, I would recommend.

careful if you’re buying this for any externally threaded jewelry!!! i bought this to make changing out my lip piercings much easier, as they’re difficult and painful to put in if there’s nothing in to guide the jewelry in. the jewelry i was using was externally threaded, 16 gauge. the jewelry i originally had in was also 16 gauge. which, according to the product description, should’ve fit perfectly. when i screwed on the jewelry (the new ones i was putting in) to see if they fit properly, i noticed that the taper itself was ever so slightly wider than the jewelry (the screw part fit on perfectly, the actual bar of the taper was wider). i thought it was fine, and tried fitting the taper in. and it was SO painful. like, genuinely could not fit it through my lip. even tried shoving it in, wouldn’t fit, had to sit down cause i nearly passed out from the pain. i think it’ll be fine if you’re using it on a less sensitive area, but lip piercings and lip tissue are built much differently than other piercing locations so it hurt much more (mine are only 4 1/2 months old, so if they’re much more healed you’re probably fine? just be careful and stop if it’s hurting or feel like you have to shove it in). the other tapers on the other hand, work perfectly! the ones for threadless jewelry are amazing, fit perfectly. i haven’t used the internally threaded ones, but their size appears to be fine and the same gauge as the threadless jewlery tapers. So they should be good too.

Seriously awesome, exactly what I needed! Love the variety of the different pieces. I had ordered some new jewelry and couldn’t change them out myself for the life of me. I went to one shop and paid a reasonable price for them to do a jewelry change however could have saved myself a time and money had i known about this sooner. I had some other pieces that delivered after my first shipment of jewelry and went to two more piercing places that I was in the area of and they wouldn’t do it because I didn’t buy jewelry from them or get my piercings from them which was honestly ridiculous. Anyhow, this kit is perfect, so easy to do, anyone can do it. I even had some pieces that were oddly shaped and the claw grabber gripped it nicely. You do have to be careful depending on the shape or how small as the claw part can pull the decorative jewelry piece into itself if not careful but you can easily use your fingers to adjust before allowing full grip and lock. Overall highly recommend, so happy I don’t have to pay someone to do it or travel anywhere to change out my jewelry. Came with a cute little compact case too that I can easily carry in my purse. 10/10

Super helpful and useful! I do like that it holds the jewelry very well. The only downside was when I was screwing in the piercing, the grabber tool fell apart. I was able to put it back together but it really shouldn't fall apart after a couple of twists.

Going well so far~ I’ve been wanting to shorten some of my piercings now that they’re healed, and this got the job done without having to shove the bar through the back (definitely more comfortable and less painful). Having long nails the grabber was a game changer screwing the balls on lol. Good options for multiple types of jewelry
