The author takes a bare bones TJ he purchased and makes upgrades to it and uses that as the selection and discussion topics. You get a walk through of the Jeep and some minor instructions on what to do (it is not a how-to manual or shop book). The ultimate point is to show the new owner what possibilities are available for various types of upgrades and why one would do them or not. So if you’re new to the TJ model, it’s an easy read that will give you a launch point on knowing your model and maybe what you bought already installed if you bought it used like I did. Would recommend for concise info in one place but probably most of it you’d get with lots of internet research in Jeep forums or blog articles.
