I do realize some people are more sensitive to smell than other people and there is always a new smell to new products. If you are not happy with the product, it can be returned within 30 days for a refund. I do not think you will have a problem with the smell, as I personally do not find it to be a "strong" small, but if you do we are glad to take it back. **Q: Is the 24" width designed for larger legs? My family member is short but with heavy and wide legs.
