This product worked great. I used to lap a stainless steel cylinder that other compounds had failed on. This did a great job and was fast cutting.

Just a couple of pea sized drops on a leather strop and properly spread.Youtube will show you how it works. A properly sharpened knife of goodsteel will stay sharp enough to shave with. Even with use. Amazing.Seems of good quality and will last a long time.

I've buffed-out two real scratches to my amazement.

This was my first diamond paste that I have bought so take my review with that in mind. But I was surprised by how well this stuff works on knives. I like that it is pretty obvious that it works as you can see the grey material traces on the leather strop. What I do like is that a little bit of paste has Ben good for several knives and I don’t think I’ll have to add some anytime soon. I love the idea that this strop will be the same for a long time and letting me use the same finish on my knives.

The product is oil based and it is delivered in a syringe that has a rubber plunger instead of a hard plastic. When I tried to use the product, the stem came out of the rubber because it had softened due to the solvent it had sipped in. The paste is not bad, but it will probably dry up fast, at taking it out might be difficult as the plunger degrades further.UPDATEI've increased the rating one star because the seller contacted me about the subject. Although the product itself is good, I cannot give it 5 stars due to the same reason I gave above.
